Ok I'm maybe a bit sensitive, but can I politely urge to remove the name of the person in the table? I understand your sentiments but she is an actual young lady who used to live two blocks away from me, just because one doesn't agree with a tax it doesn't need to be associated with her name and person, it is imho 'unprofessional' to do so, abstaining from stronger language as it doesn't serve a purpose.

And no I don't necessarily agree with everything she says either but that's besides the point, I think one should discuss ideas, not throw around names, in general.

Thanks.

Agree here. Greta Thunberg has an opinion about the environment. And the environment needs to be discussed, think everyone is aware of that by now. But whatever people think about her actions and opinions can be left out from our deep and very interesting discussions about our beloved Yaris :) 👋

Ok, here’s the “clean version” - with the recent updates.

Still: what’s the applicable amount of the “silly road tax” in the UK, please?

Has anybody the same feeling that those price structures get closer to flight tickets, where fees and taxes exceed the pure product? This is sheer madness in France, Austria, Norway etc.! That would explain why manufacturers avoid certain markets? How can Toyota make any $ in Norway?

Interesting, from the Dutch magazine article: Why is this so? Well, you pay extra tax on every gram of CO2. The GR Yaris is a car with only a petrol engine and a transmission adjusted to acceleration. This means that the car is fairly polluting during the WLTP cycle at partial load: the hand box emits 197 grams of CO2 and the automatic even 215 grams. Now so many cars do that, but they can drive a lot more economically in the WLTP- cycle thanks to electrical auxiliary systems. So actually the government is punishing the GR Yaris for being too honest.

me: Maybe we should all put a hybrid sticker on the sides then?!?

Don’t understand that list. Lowest price GR Yaris in Norway will be 75 670 EUR

Slovenia started taking orders today (pricebook is not publicly released yet, however two dealers called me today to take my order).

49200€ base manual (40327€ + 22% VAT) - no additional greta taxes
Additional costs: 250€ for vehicle preparation (prettymuch scam expense every dealer is doing here)

Precious Metal color: 750€
Automatic gearbox: 3500€
Don't know other details.

Rumored: Limited to 70 vehicles for Toyota Adria area (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro).

I'm adding the info from the official pricelist.

JBL spekears: 550 (not included in base)
Forged Wheels: 2500€
No info about EA30 (red stitching + red seatbelt)
Everything else is in base version.

Dealer said it's limited to 50 units for Adria (Balkan area), still unofficial data.

The £ is worth 1.17 Euros, and yet the base price is more in pounds than it is in Euros in most countries. What's that all about?

Something isn't right. This list says £42,250 + VAT, but the message below says the same price on the road?

That must be a typo, should be € not £
Sorry if I'm being silly here, but our price will be in £ not €, so it wouldn't make sense to give us a € price, which will vary daily based on exchange rates.

Hi Norbi, CO2 Tax in France is €60,000 for both manual and automatic cars, due to the 197g of CO2 on the manual.
For info, the special editions are 69,000 (inc VAT) and there is 1 Rovanpera and 2 Ogier cars available with a lottery draw on the 15th May. You need to sign up for the lottery by the end of April and pay a 1000 € deposit.
