GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 prices and dates across countries

€ 46,300 Is the base price for the manual, including VAT, but not including the special CO2 tax.
@cdruk: I just learned about this special CO2 tax in France.
Can you confirm the € amount for this car?

I don’t want to put rumors out there, but the number I saw was just appalling and makes me think the number of GRYs will tend to zero in France, no? Are you getting one?

Crazy!!

So just to confirm, the total is the price, and the breakdown below is tax components of the total price?

Crazy to see how varied the prices are across Europe. On the road prices are cheapest in Lithuania and most expensive in France so far. You can get 2 GR Yaris new on the road for the price of one in France!

Can someone please start a thread about Mk2 prices and I'll move the relevant price content across.
As more is now known about the Mk2, please start creating new threads for specific topics, to make it easier for all to find in the future.

** the lower number assuming that the MT stays at 190 g/km, which is still unconfirmed. But: RUFKM?!?

Please, only hard facts, no rumors! So, if and when you were contacted, are on the list, or have already signed a contract, enter those dates here. That way, we can all watch how far the wave is. And maybe help those desperately waiting without spending half their wake time checking Facebook and other “news”. Makes sense?

I’ve learned that I can only edit this list within 2 days, so if you have info or news for your country, just put them below and I can update from time to time.

Has anybody the same feeling that those price structures get closer to flight tickets, where fees and taxes exceed the pure product? This is sheer madness in France, Austria, Norway etc.! That would explain why manufacturers avoid certain markets? How can Toyota make any $ in Norway?

Interesting, from the Dutch magazine article: Why is this so? Well, you pay extra tax on every gram of CO2. The GR Yaris is a car with only a petrol engine and a transmission adjusted to acceleration. This means that the car is fairly polluting during the WLTP cycle at partial load: the hand box emits 197 grams of CO2 and the automatic even 215 grams. Now so many cars do that, but they can drive a lot more economically in the WLTP- cycle thanks to electrical auxiliary systems. So actually the government is punishing the GR Yaris for being too honest.

me: Maybe we should all put a hybrid sticker on the sides then?!?

Nordic countries, except Sweden, have since long had very high taxes. France is trying to beat Singapore ;)

I'm adding to this information, tech-pack (front-rear sensors, blindspot assist), heated seats and wheel are included in the base model. I don't know about JBL, but don't care aswell. I will update next week when official pricebook is posted.

I believe the MK1 is the real bargain now the price has risen to £45k with silly road tax.
For the price comparison chart in the sep. thread, can you or somebody from the UK please put a concrete number on this “silly UK road tax”?

For Belgium: 3150 euro one-time tax for the manual. It will likely rise with a couple of euros as tariffs will be updates after 30/06/2024.
