So… as the dates to open the order books in the various countries is approaching, may I suggest to have a place to update what we know for sure. I’m thinking the following structure:

Countrywebsite updated/pricing announced*e-mails from dealers went out to “invitees”Registration numbers were assignedLottery takes place in/onResults were publishedorder books open (and also probably closed)Base price (manual, without VAT taxes!)
Italy„moriso“15.3.—-—-—-16.3.€ 42620
Germanyteaser site / no prices15.3., with pricesSupposedly end of March, but not yet€ 39910
Belgium„moriso“2.3.NANANA7.3.€ 40190
UK27.3. / noMay
France
Sweden1.4. / no
Finland
Norway
Japan
Australia

* “moriso“ in this case stands for „Minimalinfo Only Revealed, Immediately Sold Out“ 🙏

Please, only hard facts, no rumors! So, if and when you were contacted, are on the list, or have already signed a contract, enter those dates here. That way, we can all watch how far the wave is. And maybe help those desperately waiting without spending half their wake time checking Facebook and other “news”. Makes sense?

Not sure whether the spreadsheet can be “written over” by everybody, if not, just enter your facts as a response and I can then edit this list.

€ 46,300 Is the base price for the manual, including VAT, but not including the special CO2 tax.

Yes, sorry, my mistake. So for Norbi's spreadsheet, the corrct figure is 38 585 €.

Not sure if it was posted already:
That‘s the Info for the Swiss Toyota Dealers.
So it‘s german. 😅
Way cheaper than expected imo. The base version is only 3800 CHF more expensive than the previous one? In Germany the base version is like 10k € more expensive.

@Phil1291 this was super helpful, thx! Especially the charts with the old vs new changes.

So this is how Toyota CH awards the Special editions: (translated)

“According to the wishes of the two rally legends and the chief engineer Saito-san, the Vehicles (shall) reach driving enthusiasts and not "dust" in private collections. Due to the very great interest and the strong limitation
(5 Ogier Edition, 5 Rovanperä for Switzerland),
we have decided to carry out an application procedure.

The most important key data are:
Start: 15. April 2024, online via our website
Duration: 15. April - 31. May 2024
Decision: Approx. mid-June 2024 In case of an allocation: direct notification from Toyota AG

Conditions of participation:
- Natural person residing in Switzerland / Principality of Liechtenstein
- Completed 18. Year of life, in possession of a cat. B driver's license - Important: The applicant must have a GR Yaris MC24 with a Toyota representative in Switzerland / in the Principality of Liechtenstein in order
- Only one application is possible per person
- Toyota partners and employees are also approved

Must criterion order GR Yaris MC24: Applicants must have ordered a GR Yaris MC24 from a Toyota partner in order to be approved for the application process. We have decided that in the event of a surcharge for a special edition, the customer can either withdraw from the current GR Yaris contract free of charge or buy both vehicles. Due to the announcement approx. In mid-June, there is enough time for the administration so that you do not incur any additional expenses”

PS: @Phil1291 I’d even vote that the people with the most points on this site get extra priority. Talk about driving enthusiasts… You’d be #1 in Switzerland, correct? 🤞

Yeah, i‘d like that extra priority, because i‘m gonna apply for a Special Edition for sure. 😁
This is gonna be a future 22B or something similar exclusive.

On the other hand, if i get a special edition, i can‘t modify it…
Or at least i hope i have the brains to not do it.
Maybe… 🙈
I love so much the VAT rate in Switzerland! (I've been living there for 4 happy years). In Italy, prices for the Mk2 are higher even after removing VAT, anyway.
And I appreciated very much that in Switzerland they decided for a fair and open way to sell the Special Editions as well.
Most of the other countries opted for mysterious ways to sell them, and I guess this is not the way it was meant to be for these Special cars, at least in the mind of Morizo.

True about the Swiss VAT rate, but for some obscure reason, everything else is still more expensive in Switzerland, right?
And don’t even start talking about speeding tickets there, hell, no!

They strip you naked and pull you up on the highest city poll for everyone to see!
