I needed a pair in December and had issues. Ordered a pair from a local ATS and the guy there called me apologetic because PS4 had turned up and they couldn't get the PS4S

In the end I had to go to two different vendors to get them mail order, one each from Demon Tweeks and Camskill.

Not totally unaffordable, but also I put a third down.

For me, hire purchase over a slightly more protracted period is the only way that makes sense finance wise.

Personally I don't see the MK2 being 37500 either, 33500 wasn't even the final GRY MK1 price, I expect with paint option you won't get more than a few fivers from 40k.

I think more of an issue than the price will be the numbers coming to UK.

When I picked up my Mk1 on Saturday , the salesperson volunteered only 150 coming to UK. if that is correct , the price is not going to be that important if you can't get one anyway....
I was on the waiting list since since Aug 21 and even then I only got my car because of a cancelled order , not because I was offered a build slot at factory.
I would of liked to see the GR Corolla in the UK as I think potentially it may have been an even better car than the Yaris, on the purely instinctive rationale that it was slightly longer and ignoring the origin story.
 
Yes, given how people are feeling about Golfs / digitalisation about everything and building on the hype of the Yaris, seems crazy that launching the Corolla here wouldn’t be a consideration. It might then make people consider Toyota for another car when they wouldn’t have previously (eg for a daily, following positive experiences). Equally I suppose it is a relatively small market and there’s the niche nature of the car (for enthusiasts) - eg is more a marketing decision and not a profit driven one to bring the Mk2 here in limited numbers...if they really are limited remains to be seen!
 
Be patient, the GR Corolla will come later to Europe as well.

So, just like with the MK1 ones, these are Japan-only.

I wouldn't mind an Ogier Edition rear wing/spoiler (as long as I don't have to sell a kidney).
