I have some oppinions and a different point of view about this for you.
Now i can only guess that you have lived all or most of your life in Belgium, AFAIK Belgium does not get prolonged periods of serious cold.
I agree , that idling for more than 30 minutes or an hour is not that great and not neccesarry, but 5-15 minutes ? I dont see a problem.
And i will tell you why.
These and much colder temperatures are a reality for a lot of people in the world. This is even relatively warm compared to Sweden or Norway or Finland up North, and there people also leave their cars outside, not in a insulated or heated garage.
What do you think is the condition of the oil when it has been left 12 hours or so with the engine off. I regulary see, although i am lying as i use remote start, but i have seen three things with my GR MK2 Auto in particular:
When it is very cold, when you turn your dash on the oil will be in -Xc degrees
When you turn the car on it says on the dash: The car will remain in P during the warm up/cold start period, something along these lines, i can try to do a pic later, that does mean i will have to freeze my arse off and get in the freezing car, as i wont have remotely started it. As such it does not even allow to put the lever in to R or D, i think, but i might be wrong.
Third thing, in such cold temperatures traveling even 20-30 kilometers, i barely got my oil and cooling liquid up to work temperature being about 90c.
For most of the 90-100 km/h ride, the temperatures climbed very slowly and hovered around 70c. This was this past monday, i have just done the maintenance and fresh oil.
Just my two cents.

I can confirm I get this as pop-up on dash as well, car will stay in P and warm up. We have pretty cold winter here as well so I get this pop-up daily.
And another confirmation from the warm UK it only happens occasionally as we’re so mild but it does happen.

I confirm, it's just that it's not extremely cold here and it disappears in a few moments...
I noticed something in the driver's window. When I close the door, it goes up but then goes back down slightly (a few millimeters), but it's noticeable... the passenger's window is less noticeable... is it just more "thick" or do I have to go to a Toyota? Has anyone noticed it? To notice it, I saw it from the writing on the window.

It's not a gen 2, it's a gen 1 GRMN with a couple hardware and software upgrades, and they switched the rear lights and lower bumper trim for the gen 2 version.

Could have fooled me tooAh good spot
It's interesting though, that they see the gen 2 rear diffuser as enough of a performance upgrade to warrant the whole rear light assembly replacement, not a cheap thing.
