GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

So I got the car today and it's awesome. One thing that I noticed immediately is when I open the door, the glass drops down in some time, there is a noticeable delay. This causes glass to rub on the black rubber surrounding the window. Is there a specific procedure for opening the doors?
I think the main reason for the window lowering is for closing the door. It uses the door open switch on the b-pillar to actuate the window.
They could have used the keyless touch on the door handle to have a smoother opening.

No, it's the door handle that activates the lowering.
And, in other cars, the windows stay a bit lowered as long as the doors are open. So closing them isn't a problem.

So here it is, maybe it's really nothing. I imagined the window would dip before opening the door, but perhaps it's fine after all.

for clarity: same 'issue' with Mk1... it seems that the door opens too fast VS window speed, making the window rubbing when opening. It works fine while closing.
Other car brands with frame-less windows do no have this problem. Let's called it GRY character

Toyota UK sent me an A4 picture (they called it a poster) out the blue of a mk2 today double sided one side says GR and the other is a picture from various angles.

Unexpected and will end up in the draw of stuff but always happy to be sent random things.

Ha ha, yeah I received this the other day too. I think it’s quite cool. Dealer advised it’s the freebie that replaces the Isho and bamboo key boxes.

Ah I got a bamboo box again and some flower seeds. I thought the poster that they’re calling it was the work experience kid playing around with a camera app on their phone 😬

You guys are getting gifts?

The only things they handed to me was the keys and the bill. In Belgium the buying experience is almost non-existent  same as if I had bought a used hybrid pretty much, they even parked the car in the used car lot haha. But I'm the pragmatic type so it didn't bother me much, as long as I get what's on the bill of sale I'm happy.
