Mine was due tomorrow but arrived this afternoon and has already had its PDI.

However, it is all now Toyota UK‘s timeline which I am unsure of. I have contacted them to find out.

Enjoy, I did want a grey one but they never emailed me so meh!
:p
Looks lush!

Boot mat and emergency kit are now included as standard along with a USBC cable. No leather documents wallet anymore.

Picking mine up tomorrow, I hope I get a boot mat aswell (not in UK). Was just wondering if I should bring usb-c to charge my phone on the way back home.

UK cars are coming with a USBC cable, it’s in the proper Toyota white plastic bag and then in a black box. Not sure if country specific but it has a part number.

What, do you wanna put beer in there or something? 😅 :ROFLMAO:
Guessing as this part of the world is a constant -10 to -30 from Jan to Feb the question would be can you bang something alcohol based in. otherwise you would need to drain the system for winter. All windscreen wash here is rated to -20 for winter, mainly ethanol based.

Although would there be much benefit from the sprayer in winter? Just run it dry for winter as you say.

Picked up mine today, gave it some beans (not too much, under 4k) to get home - around 150km.

Few comments or lets say first impressions. I didn't own Gen1. I currently own an Exige and a new hybrid Civic so I'll draw some comparisons - while maybe irrelevant, that's what popped on my mind today on a way home. Mostly stuff that nobody else mentioned. Some good, some bad.

- After connecting with Android Auto I couldn't find a way to get back into normal infotainment to go through settings. I tried disabling BT and Wifi on the phone but it kept reconnecting somehow. Crazy. I needed to leave the phone in the house and go to the car to browse settings.
- Infotainment screen has very nice pixel density, it's not too big, which fits this car well.
- Rear view camera - quality sucks for modern times, just abysmal. New Civics have camera that has probably three times the resolution.
- Where do I charge the phone while driving? Only place to store the phone is near cupholders - however no USB port there.
- Red seatbelts aren't really bright red, which is perfect. They are really a nice classy touch.
- In my country we don't get USB-C cable and boot mat with the car.
- ISA/RSA pinging is annoying as hell, it's not noticeable when driving a bit faster, but it was really annoying on slower speeds. Takes quite few clicks to disable, but doable with one hand.
- Cruise control is a lot better than in new Civic, very smooth and enjoyable to use.
- I couldn't find a way how to enable lane assist without cruise control, hopefully there is a button - I really love this feature on Civic for highway.
- Flappy paddles are nice - I didn't find them to be too small like many reviewers. They had a nice click, it's not a race-car click, but I have no issues with them.
- Automatic gearbox was a joy to use in manual mode, in automatic mode (normal mode) it changed gears a bit too often for a relaxed drive. (I need to try eco mode, maybe better there). I think it will be a blast on a track or fast driving. Currently I don't have any regrets on buying auto.
- Speaking of auto gearbox... 145km/h 8th gear on highway 2500rpm. Love it.
- Car is bloody quick, I'm used to Lotus which is a riot if you drive 60 or 120. This one surprised me quite few times with 130kmh speeds on local roads (long sweepers, wide road). It's something I need to get used to, modern fast car with AT.
- Gray color looks really nice.
- I got 7.7l/100km on the 75km of highway, relaxed speeds between 100 and 145kmh.

I think that's it for first 150km :)

The benefit when using alcohol will also be gone, as this evaporates way quicker and will not extract heat from the intercooler.

There is a cut out in the glovebox near where it closes, for a usb cable to come through from the passenger usb port.

Lane assist only works with cruise.
