Thank you!
Why do you mention ranges of price instead of exact prices?

Is that price actually confirmed or assumptive?

Climb inside and the Gen 2 immediately feels like a step forward. For a start, you can actually see where you’re going thanks to a new dashboard and a repositioned rear-view mirror, and the seat is mounted a useful 25mm lower than before. Tall drivers will also appreciate the extra reach in the steering column, allowing you to sit further back without needing to stretch for the wheel. Small changes, but the cumulative effect is transformative.

I hope extra reach in steering column is noticeable, almost none of the cars I've driven lately don't allow to pull out column to correct position for me.
Great writeup, I just hope for the Auto box review before orders are due.

Actually I'm still hoping that for the Italian market the price for Mk2 will be aligned with the French one (not on the tax side, of course, here in Italy taxation on cars like GRY is not abnormal, at least by now), with a DAT full optional one around 52k euros, otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd have to give up placing my order for a Mk2...
I'm a bit worried by the fact that you are always very well informed with what's going on in TGR... 😰
tbh not that well informed, just making good guesses from by following up what's happening. Though it would not be a bad place to work for..

it was about time they added windscreen - this driving via periscope is definitely challening task!

I just watched a video from an Italian online magazine, about the presentation of the Ogier and Rovanpera Editions in Finland, and they said that there are rumors of a price around 70k euros for the Mk2 Special Editions.
I've already dismissed the idea of taking one from the start, but at this price level it would really make no sense at all buying it (my opinion), just to keep it parked and waiting to sell it at a profit, and being different from an ordinary manual Mk2 just for just the 4WD maps, and for some cosmetic tweaks.
At this price you could take two good used Mk1s...
but seriously, if you add 5k hood and 5k spoiler it makes easily +10k pricetag, not to forget other stuff + exclusivity there is with these limited spec cars so not really surprised with 70-75k pricetag.

what was the price for a circuit pack in France in 2020 ?

45 398 € when I ordered it mid Dec 2020. CO2 tax of 6039 € included... I was lucky to get a bit of a discount. Our agreement was that I paid for 2020 CO2 tax only and Toyota paid the delta for the 2021 CO2 tax (+1 700 €)
All in all, it's still "only" HALF the price of what it would cost to buy one now !

not actually liking the price climb this model has.
would have preffered that Toyota provided cheap consumables etc. to make most of fun of the car (such as Porsche has for their Cup cars, at least partially).
bumpers, brakes etc. should be cheap. now it feels car will end up being a garage queen due to high prices, which is sad in the end.

We’re only getting the Circuit Pack in the UK (because it’s the only one people actually bought) which includes a new sub-radiator, upgraded air intake and an intercooler spray.
There is confirmation in this article about intercooler spray in European models as it seems.

I recognise the comments on PH review on mk1 mid corner instability on throttle lift. Left foot braking fixes that..
hardly see if mk2 will be any better in that as the generic chassis dynamics will be more or less the same. But easy to say new is magic and old is crap.
