GR86 Exhausts

To be fair I was once next to an Aventador S at a set of lights and even at idle it was ear piercing, just made me uncomfortable.. in a good way 😂

Don't see any reason the AWE exhaust should not work over here. The GPF might even tone it down a little, which is a bonus.
I will wait to get my hands on the car to purchase but it definitely looks like my winner. Will need to pick it up from a US reseller.
 
So any JDM exhaust will fit ok even with the addition of the GPF on UK / Euro models?

Quite fancy the SARD Titanium exhaust...
 
Think ive found my favourite, Interestingly hks list the same part number for the gt and gr 86, may open up a world of other manufacturers and used systems if they fit both

I think it would be a lottery fitting a GT86 exhaust, some will fit but most will be slightly different. A rubbing exhaust is unpleasant.

My APEXi is a different part number and slightly different physically.
 
I'm drawn to the HKS Legamax Premium. Seems to be a nice subtle increase in sound and it'll look great on an Electric Blue car I think.
Who's good for mod-friendly insurance these days?

I'm with Chris Knott, they're super friendly with mods, and if you tell them you're with GR-Zoo they'll discount you further, they gave me the best quote by a fair bit.
 
Really need to get the - AWE Touring exhaust....

Anyone had any luck sourcing it yet? I've tried about 5-6 dealers and nobody has it...

Going to try Torqen and see if they'll import it for us.... it's easily the best exhaust.

That Apexi is too quiet, £1800 for maybe 1-2 dB more, seems poor economy. We also have a GPF filter... it's going to be very quiet @PVGR
I'm not for boy racer exhausts but at the same time, the tone is much better than stock.

The AWE Touring has no drone, and is loud when you want it to be. It's the best exhaust on the market for this car tbh.

Sounds perfect for me based on what I've seen/listened too but guess I'll find out, the Touring is far too lairy for me but all personal taste!

To be honest since you've ordered yours. I'll wait and see anyway...

How long are you expecting till the exhaust + car arrives?
Looking forward to videos, also if you can. Take a stock video and repeat the same in same/similar conditions. Would be a really great comparison :)

anyone tried a direct us import? the exhaust I want is £550 there and £700 here but I'd imagine the tax will take it past that

I reckon it may end up costing more by the time you add shipping, customs tax and handling fees (couriers like to add their bit)

I'm in the same boat, I really like the sound of the USDM Toyota GR Sports exhaust, but I'm having trouble with trying to get it over here.
