Given I was in track mode within about 5 minutes of driving the car, I expect that's where I am going to spend most of my time, eventually.
 
Sport mode. My car immobilises at traffic lights if I let start/stop engage :LOL:

I still don't think I've driven it fast enough on the same roads/conditions/tyres to honestly tell the difference yet. My gut feel is that I like track best, but it's probably because I secretly fear binning it when I put my foot down in sport. The idea of TC off or expert mode scares the crap out of me, at least until I've learned the car's limits somewhere safely.
 
Another one voting for Sport. Coming from RWD cars (since I got my driving licence) I tried Track for a few thousand kilometers (even on the Nürburgring) but in the end I changed back to Sport preferring less drive influences in the steering. BTW the electronics help you to stick on the road as long as you are not exobitantly too fast, together with the good-natured suspension you'll be safe and fast ;)

On the road: Normal, TC on. Sadly there are too much bad road surfaces, too much traffic, and *crap drivers on my daily routes for anything fun. When I do get to put my foot down it'll be on the motorways/A road driving in a straight line, which feels the same in all 3 modes. Will even use the lane assisted cruise control.

On the track/private road: Sport, Expert Mode. or Track, all off. No one in my way🏎️

For it's dependant on what mood I'm in or the weather. If it's raining quite heavily or snowing I choose track, if it's dry I just use normal. I rarely use sport because it just doesn't feel right to me
 
Track is fastest, always track this time of year.
But I run sport mode when warm and dry as it feels nicer.
I don’t understand what normal mode is for, it torque steers and doesn’t corner as well as track, pointless.

Normal is perfect for when I let anyone with a license to drive but not actually a driver, drive my car. Wife, collegues, 'normal' friends ;)
 
Sport as with it sniffing the available grip is the easiest + prefer how driveline responds with it
 
Always normal unless getting on it. Then sport or track depending if dry or wet.

I have a little device that auto switches off the stop start when i start the car anyway so no need to mess with modes
 
I use normal in simply normal driving, but flick it to track if I know I'm going to take a corner. Then when I'm done, back to normal again. It's so quick to do I find that no problem. I've no idea whether normal is less wearing to drivetrain components than other modes, which is the only reason I do it.
 
Normal with lane assist off for day to day road use.

The other modes for track days or Sunday B Road blasts.

Don't really see the point in faffing around with modes just to sit in traffic behind Mrs Miggins' Polo on the way to Tesco.
 
as the rear clutch plates are slipping full time at varying speeds/loads one biggest question we're all wondering must be how long these thing can last and what's replacement cost going to be

can also see it being a future selling point "have the plates been done"

Interesting. I don't use Sport for day-to-day town driving because it disables the stop/start. I really dislike sitting in a stationary queue with my engine running unnecessarily.
 
@kinboshi I think it's because I don't own and haven't owned anything else with it. The car stops and my head instantly thinks it's stalled.

Maybe I'll get used to it and stop immediately thinking it's broken 😄

I'm hoping it breaks in this car like it has in my Focus RS so I don't have to switch it OFF every time I'm in it... :ROFLMAO:
It stopped working years ago in my other car which I treated like a birthday present to myself! :love:
