If you don’t understand the tool list then read the rest of this guide as it will become clear why you need them and when you could use a different tool.
Step 1:
Remove the boot lid liner by the removing the 7 pop clips.
Use the trim tool to gently pry the centre of the clip until is pops up, then gently remove the entire clip.

Do this to remove all of these clips and the boot lid liner should be free.
Step 2:
Locate hole and install bolt.
You are looking for the top middle hole as marked here.
Take the bolt, place one washer on, and thread through the back as pictured. Take your time, you do not want to drop anything, trust me.

Tighten enough to prevent rotation.
Note: As nyloc nuts are used, you will not be able to thread the nut by hand onto the bolt.
Therefore, carefully place one spanner over the bolt head from behind (to stop it moving), while using another spanner (or socket wrench) to tighten the nut.
Step 3:
Re-install the boot lid liner as it was, threading the bolt through the top middle existing hole as marked below.

Then put the popclips back, place it in the hole, then press to clip. Do this for all 6 clips
