Bikes - show me yours

Still undecided what to have alongside the Street Triple. Been riding it to work all this week and I've lost quite a bit of weight since I last rode it (about 12-14kg). Feels like a new bike again, easier to grip the tank and move about on it. It's been great and now I'm under 90kg, it's in range for the suspension to work better. Loads of deals coming since Honda made the new Hornet a bargain. Many manufacturers offering 0% again, not Triumph or Ducati but then they are at different price points. The new Speed Triple 1200 RS looks a good bit of kit but is another naked and probably a bit much for a naked bike once you add some essential options. I'll go for a look this weekend.

So far the 6-cylinder behemoth is achieving almost exactly twice the MPG of the Yaris - 29 vs 58.

Wasn't expecting that

Looks like I may be in the market for a wee 'commuter' to travel between home and some rurally located car storage (if all goes well). Top of my list is either the 2026 Vespa GTS 310 HPE 80th Anniversary Edition (in gloss pale green), or a GTS 310 SuperTech (in gloss white) for some casual waistcoat-on-pocket-handkerchief-wearing road trips. Matt finishes I find to be too much of a chip magnet for my liking.
So glad I sold all of my biking kit several years ago - apart from an open faced DMD Glitter Bronze helmet that I still have and which surprisingly nobody else wanted 😬 ...

Ah well, perfect excuse to get myself along to next years' motorcycle show and do some retail therapy innit!

Still weighing up getting a Speed Triple 1200RS. I'd keep my 765RS for commuting but that power and suspension has corrupted me absolutely. I'm not fussed on the colours though so may wait to see what colour options will come out this year as Triumph have a habit of making special editions and new colours.

As I'm waiting on the 2026 build dates from Vespa, I decided to bolster my enthusiasm with Google AI. So here I am riding through the streets of Edinburgh ... I note however, that AI has got a number of things wrong despite my giving it specific details. Never mind, only a bit of fun innit!
