Having been blown into the weeds on an Italian backroad by a middle aged woman on a TMax, Akra system, skirt flapping in the wind (me on a Tiger 1050) I have a lot of respect for this type of bike.

Far better to have something that works for you, is "accessible" and allows you to ride and do the things you want to do on 2 wheels than something exotic but impractical that you never get to genuinely enjoy.

More than adequate and doesn't seem to have any vices.
I don't ride as hard as I used to so I'll never trouble any shortcomings it may have. :)

I enjoy modestly powered bikes. What I don't enjoy is when those bikes make that power in a less than relaxed way.

My Triumph makes 64bhp from 900cc, and my BMW a mere 50bhp from 800cc and both cruise along at or around the legal limit in a chilled out way. With the Hondas, I'd likely prefer the 750 over the 350, not to go faster, but to go at the same speed with the engine turning more slowly and feeling like there's more in reserve even though it might never get used.

Like @TFP555 though, I suspect my leg length would rule that out.

BMW used to have a configurator thing on their website where you could put in your height, inside leg length and waist measurement and it would tell you what bikes you would fit. It wouldn't accept that at 5'10" I only had a 28" (being generous) inside leg and would only accept my leg measurement if i pretended I was 5'5". Add in my less than svelte waist measurement and the onscreen avatar was the spitting image of Cartman from South Park.

Then to add insult to injury it would tell me that the non-teutonicly shaped blob of a man in the image was incapable of riding any of their bikes.

Which was a shame as I owned 3 of them at time.

My NC has been lowered (short arse here too).
Lust Racing 40mm drop at the back and the front dropped through the yokes to match. All measured from indicators to ground with the bike upright.
The best bit is that the NC750S side and main stands both fit the frame holes and work well with the suspension drop so no faffing about cutting and welding stands.

I do love limited editions. It’s just fun to find and hunt for them. Hence, I’m excited as one can be for the incoming GRY this Fall!

Here are my Alpina B6 (only 1100 built worldwide, 600 HP V8, 320 km/h) - unfortunately won’t survive the transit from US to EU for software system reasons.
My Yamaha VMax 1700 (200 HP, 0-100 in 2.7sec) - wouldn’t pass any emissions or noise inspection in EU, but what a rocket!
My BMW RnineT (just so awesome, and the only of those 3 to move to Italy…)
