Anybody have there battery die after just one night of non use? Car parked up the previous evening completely dead by the following evening ... Battery has always worked perfectly before this and has held a very good charge. Any ideas to the cause welcome (keys were in there usual place) plus good aftermarket battery alternative would be great . Thanks Taggy

Do you have any 3rd party electronics attached to it? i.e. Dash Cam, Tracker, Alarm, replacement head unit etc.?
If not then I'd take it into a garage (unless you or someone you know has a clamp meter or something similar to check yourself) to see what the current drain is when the cars totally off (i.e. give the car 5 minutes after off for the various systems to shut down and time out).

Never after just a single overnight. Most I’ve left the car off my ‘Noco Genius 10’ optimiser is 3 days and it did show a tiny ‘drop’ on the optimiser charge leds when I next connected it. Not sure how indicative that is though.
I have a BlackVue 4k 2ch Dashcam with parking mode (have set battery monitoring on), a 24/7 live tracker and a Ghost immobiliser - all of which draw parasitic current whilst the engine is off.
For confidence I replaced the OEM Panasonic 48Ah Battery with an identical dimensioned ‘Bosch S4025 60Ah/540A’ (also lead acid) prior to the car’s 6m Winter storage last year. No issues to date.

It is very unusual for battery to just fail. But it has happened before. I would recondition/replace battery first, before diving into gr86 charging circuit and measuring drain. Quick google shows similar issue with one person on Pistonheads, but treads stop before resolution.
