Interesting, add the duck tail on top and you'll have a massive wing at high speeds.

I think it's really cool, but the problem is it doesn;t look as good as the factory ducktail.

I've seen replacement boot lids like this for the GR.

I have seen one a while back but you had to lose the rear light and i vaguely remember it being about £2k

Seibon do replacement boot lids with integrated ducktails in different styles, as you said around 2k. Then you need to paint the thing,. tough ask for a value oriented car.

I’ve seen a couple of Japanese owned cars on the net in white with either a Seibon or replica of the lids who seem to have embraced the “panda” look and paired them with an unpainted carbon bonnet.
