GR Yaris πŸ‘Ž Negatives - what annoys, disappoints, puzzles and generally irks you about the GR Yaris?

Noticed again yesterday, the car goes round roundabouts too well, and so people pull out on you and you nearly hit them.
I get this everytime I drive it! :ROFLMAO: o_O 😁

I have the rear belts clipped in permanently for this reason. No one sits in the back, stops them rattling too
I used to have them clipped in all the time to stop that light until I started laying the rear seats flat with a full length boot mat hiding them so now I can't have them clipped in or it would leave dents in the leather...
It's nice having a fast van though lol!! :ROFLMAO: πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ

Not much to be honest.
Probably the biggest one for me is rear visibility, particularly the rear corners.
There have been a few instances where i actually couldn't see pulling out of angled intersections.

Also the rear view mirror is an issue.
Today I realised I don't have any issues with blind spots at all because of the digital mirror I installed early on (which solves all the other rear view mirror woes too). That rear camera is pretty wide angle (and keeps suprsingly clean behind the roof antenna), and before cars disappear from the side window they show up in the rear view "mirror" already. That is, no blind spots at all. Can really recommend.

In terms of mechanics, its mostly driveline & transmission strength, valve train springs and oil pickup.
Fun to see if new model has any improvements with these or not.

Mostly love it. My one gripe is every time we go out in the car it seems to develop a new rattle, usually an intensely unpleasant one. I've never spent more hours working on a car trying to pin down rattles. Latest one is when bass note hits on the speakers the front door release/central locking cables vibrate on the door panel so 2 foam panels are incoming.

Not got rattles from mine, and that's after 30k miles. If something's rattling on mine, it's something I've put there, or it's my aging bones.

Three years on, the car still gets comments and thumbs up from others. Getting stopped to talk about the car is such a headache (I'm joking of course!).
