Apparently on the Toyota Prius it turns on or off the footwell lighting on both sides when the headlights are on. It only comes in effect when the headlights turn on. It doesn’t change the footwell light when driver’s door is open. I have never seen one on a GR yaris though 🤔

It's definitely not attached, this is a new one I had under warranty, it was a little embarrassing as I believed like you why would Toyota engineer it this way but it seems they do.

Eventually got my obd2 dongle and configured a few screens more suited to the GR.

Thanks for that great advice, it has all loaded up now 👍 bit fiddly with the AA Torque as it still shows as downloaded by kingspan not playstore, nonetheless Android auto still opened it up. I don't have a obd2 dongle yet so will borrow one to test it puts data on the gauges.

I did read that but it seems torque pro no longer works, or its a real faff to get it working with rooted phones and other apps. I was hoping someone may have found an easier way to display gauges.

I had wear front and rear on inner edges, very twitchy at high speed. Turns out my car had excessive toe out front and rear, all even figures so not knocked out of alignment maybe suspension dropping or just plain out of spec from Toyota 🤔

Today I Adjusted the hand brake and removed the rear pads to clean up the pins. Extraction of the inboard pad was not easy as it was seized In on both N/S & O/S Surprised that a little corrosion on the pads-caliper contact points would cause this.
