Would you be charged those 2 hours or is that just how long they want it for?
They'd need time for the car to cool and some time to check it's working fine after fitting. If it's meant to have any sealant on it, then it'll be an hour before starting it up again.
Changing the oil pressure...
Yep, was there when it was announced. Can be 12 years for some that have a 2 year interval. Then again, it also says you don't need prior service history, but they'll ask for it if you make a claim...
That looks the right part number going off amayama too. It looks like the one on the Yaris too, does the pipe / back box have a recessed bit for it to sit in? If so, it's probably right
Got the whifbitz stainless. Welds are good, sounds good. That's about it. Was a real pain to get the tips lined up and matching, ended up taking it off and checking the 2 90degree pieces and they were visibly different angles.
Gave them a ring, and might as well have phoned a brick wall...
I've ordered a bunch of bolts and fittings off Amayana for my GT and stuck a pcv valve on the order as I'd figure id check it and it'd be cheaper with delivery already paid etc... stuck on "ordered from supplier" FFS...
You can place the order on amayama to get the shipping cost and cancel if it's too much. It'll be Thursday before they respond though due to holidays in Japan. They're not doing the cheap EMS postage though. Could try japanparts.com as well - they'll get OEM parts if you request them. Again...
Looking at some of those pics, with it on top of the engine cover and the front of the air box, it must he coming out with some force rather than a slight weep, otherwise it wouldn't be going upwards or bumper side of the air box.
Is the engine bay all clean now?
Not on the GR but got a set of the goodyears on a GT86 and they're a step up from the PS4 they replaced. Our road is mostly leaves and mud at the minute and the goodyears have had no issues with grip where the PS4 struggled
I just did the thing online to say I'm keeping my Yaris, not sure why you need to when the default is keeping it and toyota taking the final payment but there we are. 10mins later I get an email offering a normal Yaris 🙄
The thing that annoys me more with the TPMS is it will instantly complain a tyre is low, but won't show you the pressure for a while. If it knows it's low it must have a reading!
If you're the first owner then it'll be when you ordered, not when it was registered. Most first owners will have 5yr warranty as that's what it was when ordered.
Technically you get can 10 years and 364 days warranty. The warranty is a year / 10k miles from the service date as long as the service is done before it's 10 years old / 100k miles.
