So you need two to completely get rid of the noise? I was going to put one on each door, even though only my drivers side clicks, just for good measure. If that's not enough I'll put them both on the drives side.

I have capitulated - removed my bonnet strut today, and put it in the garage.

Keep an eye on the bits behind the door handles. After wrapping, one of my doors wouldn't lock. The trim I'd added was interfering with the manual locking rocker switch and causing it to bounce. Fixed easily enough by just trimming that edge so it didn't wrap around, but didn't spot it at first.

Managed to find some bubble wrap and brown paper, and Evri delivery sizes are more lenient than I thought. So I'm now offering this at £140 including delivery.

I think you might be right, I remember it triggering me a bit because I think it looks better to have the thicker part at the bottom. But I followed the crowd and put them "upside down". Can't see it making a practical difference though.

Yeah that's thanks to @ZN8 who contacted them and then kindly did a group by for some of us. Truly, he is the hero Gotham needs, but not the one it deserves, or the other way around, idk.

A couple more owners on the US forum have received the washers and fitted them now and report it's sorted the issue, so hopefully this is a conclusive fix. Hope ours arrive soon, I went out this morning and the crack as the window dropped made me wince, it sounds like something is going to snap...

I have the AliExpress struts, but I left the bonnet support in! Not entirely sure why, perhaps I should take it off. But then I'd only end up losing it.
