2 days in, my 3 favs about the interior which I didn’t know about prior to purchase:
- if you set the info screen to off, next time you start-up it asks if you want to keep it off, and if you ignore the prompt it just knows you want to keep it off, so stays off
- if you disable passenger window button, the backlight on the passengers window switch goes out
- the black headliner
And the 2 things I need to get used to:
- my left elbow rests in the hole created by the handbrake position, which isn’t very comfortable
- when I catch sight of the shelf in front of the passenger seat, I keep thinking that the glove box is open

Busy week - protecting the interior:
- black velvet pre-cut template fitted to centre console
- black velvet pre-cut templates fitted to door panels
- black velvet self-cut fitted to kick panels
- black velvet self-cut fitted to B pillars (where belt buckles catch)
- black velvet self-cut fitted to anchor covers (to stop the dazzle)
The photos don't show it, but the self-cut material is all from the same roll so identical and a perfect match to the original in the car.
The pre-cut template material is all the same shade and although not a perfect match, it's close enough for me to the original without triggering my ocd.
Also got round to fitting ppf to the headlights. Not perfect (I think I stretched it a bit too much) but good enough for now.
Also changed bulbs from halogen to led in the reversing lights, vanity lights, doors, and boot. Left the front interior ones for now as I prefer the softer glow.
And fitted a couple of caps to the silver bolt ends that I didn't know I needed until I fitted them!

Found some scraps of black suede from a year ago and put some behind the rear seat-belt buckels to stop them catching on the plastic trim - my only sound deadening! Also put a bit on the centre console button to hide a scratch that's been there since day 1. And following @Conscript , did behind the door handles too.
I fitted the bonnet struts a year ago (still need to find a way to get my torque wrench onto those nuts to the bodywork) and never thought about removing the stay rod until today. One less thing to get in the way when I clean the engine bay.
After a wash, gave the car its biannual coat of polish and wax; plastic dressing to the blacks, and autosol to the exhaust tips.

Keep an eye on the bits behind the door handles. After wrapping, one of my doors wouldn't lock. The trim I'd added was interfering with the manual locking rocker switch and causing it to bounce. Fixed easily enough by just trimming that edge so it didn't wrap around, but didn't spot it at first.
