Said exhaust is currently sitting in the box in the garage, RTV silicon arrived today ready to be fitted. Sadly I was mid flow in the current DIY project so I needed to complete that before looking at the exhaust fitment.

Boot is actually rather curvy on the sides and not a lot of flat area for your standard nets, plus you would be half inside the boot to place items in said nets. AliX was the default choice as was not in a rush and the £ to gamble was worth it.

I am going to see how this works out. I can easily remove the centre net should I need to. The sides can hold folder shipping bags and other smaller items.

Good shout re Newcastle, will need to look into this as I have been talking about another euro trip for too long! Last one was 7 countries, 3 weeks and 5k miles, along with a F1 race at Spa, such a great holiday.

Awesome, use to live down in Essex so euro tunnel was a no brainier, since moving to Scotland less so and sadly they took away the ferry from just outside of Edinburgh, done the boat from Hull which wasn’t too bad but a fair bit down the country.

It has a W5W dummy that’s feeds the two wires to the strip, so it’s plug and play without any modifications.

Fitted a W5W LED and was rather underwhelmed with the (still) lack of illumination offered. Soln was a LED strip fitted and hey presto I can see the whole boot cavity. The strip is fitted safely out the way so won’t be caught on any luggage etc.
