GR86 Boot lighting

Fitted a W5W LED and was rather underwhelmed with the (still) lack of illumination offered.
Soln was a LED strip fitted and hey presto I can see the whole boot cavity. The strip is fitted safely out the way so won’t be caught on any luggage etc.

Are you powering it from the original light connector or did you add a bit of wiring?

It has a W5W dummy that’s feeds the two wires to the strip, so it’s plug and play without any modifications.

80cm in length.

Currently battling with the alixpress website to try and get it for 80p, looks like that's first time customer discounts only and alternative email addresses don't work if it's same delivery address. Grr. Otherwise it's £5ish for me

Mine arrived tonight, just fitted them. Lights up the whole boot nicely now, although they are a bit flimsy...if I touch the wire connector, they go out. Must be a loose connector or a slight break in the wire. Still, to be expected for AliExpress stuff I guess. Good shout Gibbo.
