GR86 Oil Consumption and Pressure Issues?

The state of your inlet manifold cover kind of suggests it's must be almost pissing out from somewhere, surely?

GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Yeah, that was on the Ashdown Forest. And no, but I am somewhat of a fatteh so maybe my springs are just compressing more over time.

GR86 Importing my 2023 JDM BRZ

No that's true. Choosing between them often comes down to whoever is closest, tbh, so was just curious as I know you go to them usually. I did pop by Fensport once to pick something up, but only because I was visiting parents in Suffolk at the time so it wasn't too far to go. And Adrian was...

This is the way. Looking forward to a full report after installation. Out of interest, any reason you're not going to Abbey for the work this time?

Nice, do you think you'll still fit a full intake or is just the snorkel satisfactory?

GR86 "That's a fresh whip bruv"; or the Toyota GR86 collated feedback thread

Just popped to Tesco for fuel, and as I was filling up, the guy behind me started chatting about the car. He actually asked if it was 3-cylinder, think he'd seen the GR and Toyota badges and was thinking of the Yaris, didn't know what it was. Surprised when I said it was only 230 or so...

Snap. Although not really a proper deep clean as it was just dusty. Then went to get fuel and got someone asking about it, which was nice. Oh and when I got home the sun came out and I made the mistake of looking at the panels in direct sunlight. Despite my best efforts...swirls :/

Fits in nicely with that crowd. Squint your eyes and you'd be forgiven for mistaking it for a Cayman. At a glance, of course. In the dark. And if it was raining. Also props for arguably the correct pluralisation of "Cayman". Very Alan Partridge. "Yes, I love Lexii..."

    GR86 Initial thoughts

Good point, forgot about that. I tend to disable the key every night as a matter of habit, just for a bit of security.

Think you can disable that if it bothers you, although you might need a copy of Techstream to do so.

GR86 GR86 values at the end of 2025, are they worth it and what else can you get?

I happened to check the other day, and since my MOT around 5 months ago (8th November), I've only done about 2k miles. I use it to commute (~60 mile round trip), but luckily I get to work from home a lot - it's unusual if I have to go in to the office more than 2 days a week. And since that...

    GR86 GR86 Gear Knob Thread

Decided to stick with the OEM one for now. Blitz is up for grabs if anyone wants it. Probably ended up doing less than 200 miles with it, so it's absolutely perfect. https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/blitz-shift-knob-silver.10397/

    Sold Blitz Shift Knob (Silver)

Blitz shift knob with silver trim collar. Lighter than stock, weights in at ~105g (OEM = ~197g). Constructed of a metal inner with a hard plastic (possibly Delrin) outer, so doesn't feel too hot or cold to the touch generally. Makes for a lovely, crisp feeling shift which I really enjoy, but...

GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Went for my first proper drive of the year yesterday morning as it was a bank holiday. Got out just before 6am, just getting light. Still bloody cold, so I was careful, but it's been nice and dry for a while now, so still good fun for an hour and a half or so. Saw a group of Porsches parked up...

GR86 Techstream to enable features on UK models

Welcome to the forum! There are a few threads floating around already about Techstream features, but probably the most comprehensive one is this: https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/coding-via-service-departments.3261/ As for whether it's worth it, that depends....I think a lot of features, such as...
