Alright, perhaps another one

Just collected my wheels from Wheel Genie in Huntingdon. Absolutely delighted with them👍 I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Photos will follow later tomorrow, but meantime here is a teaser

Picking my wheels up next week which are currently being re coloured. Have also gone for Shadow chrome powder coat, and going on a silver 86. Will post some before and after pic next week

Would very much like to replace the wheel centres with the Toyota symbol on, with ones with the GR symbol on. Haven’t seen or come accross any GR ones, Does anyone know if anybody does them? Thanks.

Many thanks, that’s very helpful. have just bought a set of wheels off a GR86, as the owner has decided to changed wheels. I am going to be taking them into get a colour change, so the tyres will be comming off. So, I presumme they will just take the existing vales out, and re-fit them once...

So, in layman’s terms, can someone explain how these work? and where are the actual sensors located. Never had a car with tpms fitted before, so just interested to know exactly how they work. Many thanks.

Just had a quote from Wheel Genie in Huntingdon, who I have used previously, and do a first class job. £330 plus vat, so £396, that’s for same day dropping car off first thing and collecting at 5pm. the full acid strip etc and re balancing tyres etc. that is for powder coating. I’m sure I paid...

That’s a good point. I do actually like the wheels on the GR, so quite happy just to get the colour changed. But yes, will look at the options of buying a new set if I can find a set that ticks all the boxes. Going to get a price to get them painted shortly, so will give me a yard stick to go with.

So, never really been keen on black wheels. After a visit to a body shop yesterday, will be getting the brake Calipers painted Red when they can fit me in, which will hopefully lift the standard Calipers, and improve the appearance somewhat. My car is silver. So, my question is….. what colour...

Just called into local body shop, to see if they would be interested in painting my Calipers. As with all good body shops, they are stacked out with work, and not main stream stuff, they do a lot of classic/race stuff. Knew exactly what the car was as soon as it pulled in, and was keen to look...

Exactly, they start to let the look of the car down. I intent to pay a local body shop a visit, to see if they will paint them, so at least they will clean up easily🤣

I have always thought that a nice set of Calipers matched with a nice set of wheels really help set a car off. Not complaining, , but the the stock brakes really do let it down a little🙈 The cost to replace/upgrade is a little eye watering however, or is it just me being a bit tight😉🤣

Calling into my dealer this morning to see how much they want to fit A Rear Duck spoiler. it says only Red on that link, I presumme other colours are available ready painted? I watched the youtube from Kevin Wo fitting one, a few months back, looks like probably could be fitted in an hour...

Not that I’ve noticed, in fact I sometimes have to remind myself it’s got a sport system on. Definately not intrusive. Although I’m sort of hoping that all changes when we start exploring the higher end of the rev range🤣🤣
