I did mine with the pedal in place, it certainly was a bit tricky. Is it possible to fit it in the wrong position? I thought it might sit a little closer to the brake pedal.

Doesn't do a lot for the anxiety levels, does it? Seems a very good reason to keep the warranty up or to do some preventative work.

Fitted the Cusco accelerator pedal extender. Very awkward and fiddly, but didn't take long. I've yet to drive it, but it looks good.

From what I could understand (and I am far from an expert) the idea is that the mesh in the pickup tube covers a small surface area and is very easy to clog, so adding this basket increases the surface area so it would take a huge amount of rtv to clog it and therefore cause an issue. Seems...

While getting my car serviced at Fensport on Monday I had a good conversation with Michael about what upgrades they would recommend for the GR86 and we inevitably came to the oil starvation issues, of which they have seen a few (in GT and GR86) and it is particularly recommended for track use...

It's probably easier to email Michael at Fensport and ask, as I was distracted by a lot of shiny bits and bobs (strut brace with brake stopper, pedal extender bought!), but there was a 'cage' that fits around the oil pickup to capture the rtv but still leave space for oil to flow. Not sure about...

Talking to the guys at Fensport today, they are strongly recommending a fix to the oil pickup and a baffle for the sump, particularly for track work. No use for you of course, but potentially a warning for everyone else.

I had a wobbly (standard) knob a while ago and an extra 360 degree turn did tighten it up nicely. It was quite a relief!

I've been giving serious consideration to attempting the clutch pedal spring swap, but have decided to delay it until another day because it looks far too complicated for a numpty like me. So, I nearly did something with the car, but then thought better of it. I'll probably think about it again...

I drove a rather lovely F Type Jag today, the 3 litre supercharged V6 sounded great and it was rapid, but I was happy to get in the GR86 for the journey home - better steering, manual gear change, better visibility and more fun at 'sensible' speeds. A hatchback would be handy though!

I (quite literally) feel your pain. I've had it on and off for about 2+ years now and a trip to a physio (private, sports based) made a huge difference. The heel, calf, hamstring and lower back are all linked so the stretches work all of those - I just need to do them more regularly...

Absolutely! Concrete stretches of the M25 are terrible, I even find myself picking lanes depending on the road surface (only when the road is clear, no lane blocking if I can help it)...

I finally started to do this, only driver's door so far and I like it. I did have the annoying rattle in that door and it seems to have fixed it, only to find another - can you guess what it is 😂
