BUT I can confirm we can still change it to unlock both doors, regardless the sticker on the window.
So I guess you got yours done at the Dealer - unlocking both doors from the handle?

Yes, u need a window base machine, vci cable and the techstream software
Got all that and into the car settings.

Can you remember where the "unlock both doors with keyless entry" bit was @flybysb ? Not very user friendly is it? #help!

^Yeah, that's to get the windows working from the keyfob, rather than unlocking both doors at the same time when the key is still in your pocket. (y)

My car is going in tomorrow for the parking sensor installation and I was going to ask them to do this. Considering just telling theme exactly where they can find the settings.
- If I'm reading the above screenshot right, for the window on fob setting they need to go to Body Control Live tab, then "Utility", then find "Unit Customising", correct?
- But do we still not have a positive idea of where the "unlock both doors on handle touch" setting is?

Flybysb- Thank you so much, this is exactly the reason I started the post 👍💯

Do you know if it's possible to have the doors lock automatically when first driving away?

Surprise Jemca Bracknell can't code the windows on key or unlock all doors 😱

As others have pointed out it might be buried but saying it's not possible isn't true right?

Thats good descriptions for the Driver unlocking all doors as well as Raise/Lower Windows using the fob.

Does Anyone have any information on where the fake exhaust noise settings are?

The service guy at Toyota has asked me to give him the car for a day to sort the above, but if I find the settings beforehand I can get it done in a lunch hour.

My dealer was able to customise for window closing and opening from the keys and said the smart unlock was done too, but only the windows work. Smart unlock is still just the driver's door.

May check when I'm back nest time as the parking sensors were the main reason it was in the dealership and they aren't fitted yet as they hadn't realised they needed to paint them.

In "All ECU" it's labelled as "Active Sound Control"

Brill, thankyou Dal
I guess the only other one i think we might want to find is the recycle air setting that keeps enabling itself ( it does this even when not in automatic mode for me)

In the excitement of getting my car back yesterday, I forgot to check whether the settings I'd asked them to change (window roll down, unlock all doors) had been enabled. Low and behold - they've hadn't done it :/

I really can't face taking the car back to them again. I think I might buy the Techstream software/dongle and do it myself. I figure it might be quite a useful bit of kit to have for future diagnostics anyway.

Thanks to @Dal3D and his post here, I've now managed to get Techstream and the OBD dongle. Have just plugged it in to my car and thanks for the screenshots above, managed to find and enable the settings to unlock all the doors and to control the windows with the fob. Just in time, weather is nice and warm so it's handy to be able to roll the windows down before getting in :p I also disabled the Active Sound Control, so I will remove the shonky switch I put together to control it.

Techstream isn't very intuitive and a bit slow, so I didn't have time to do a full dive into all the available settings...most of them seem to be on the "Body Control Live" section. I did note one that might be quite useful though - the setting for how sensitive the automatic headlights are. I've seen someone post a thread about this....

I thought about changing the setting, as I've also noticed that the lights come one a bit soon sometimes. But I wasn't quite sure how the settings worked. Current value is "0%" and as you can see you can set it to plus or minus 20% or 40%. But it's not quite clear what that means....does +20% mean it's 20% more sensitive? Or that it requires 20% more light to activate (ie, less sensitive)? I imagine it's the former, but without being entirely sure or having the time to experiment, I left it for now. It doesn't bother me too much, but perhaps others might want to fiddle with it.
