Have you been to a UK Toyota dealer with the part number? Over the years I've done it a few times. Never been an issue.I dream of being able to purchase the bottom foam bit, so that everything fits OEM+
I have a brand new OEM wheel off a Levorg, OEM jack, OEM Wheel Nut and Washer.
And the fitment is just not perfect enough.

This Wheel Turned up on Toyota Direct Parts, without Rubber.
I was wondering if this fit our GR86s and is a space saver spare. Doing a search on the SKU Part number yielded nothing concrete.

Could be worse - mine arrived today with a tyre from 2009…. Others may want to take them up on their offer to fit a brand new tyre for an extra £30Ordered a space saver from the wheel shop last weekend and it arrived on Tuesday which was impressive. Less impressive is the continental tyre on it that was made in 2011!
Must admit, I haven't even thought about the age of my space saver tyre. I bought it for my GT86 after a few years of owning that, and it was second hand at the time. Isn't it less of an issue if the tyre is stored dry and in the boot though? I thought the only issue was UV light and exposure to the elements.

I won't be changing mine - no side wall cracks, no bulging, visibly ok; rubber may have deteriorated over the years but steel wire structure should be ok; if I have to use it I'll be going slow anyway...and it's newer than the OEM tyre on my other car's space saver from 1997!
I've read that it's recommended to replace them every 10 years, recommended, not mandatory. Could be just internet nonsense.
I'd replace it on condition rather than age, given what it's used for and the environment it lives in it's not comparable to normal tyres.

I can top that. I bought all the parts for a spare wheel and jack yadaya.. and if course it didn't fit because I have since installed a full TRD big brake kit

Get a spaace saver wheel from the Impreza STI with 5x100 bolt pattern. I had the foresight to do that on mine as I had fitted brembos. The wheel is old now , so you'll need a fresh new tyre too, I wouldn't feel happy running a 20yr old tyre even as a temp spare.I can top that. I too got a full size spare wheel in. AND * believe me * the car handles better. After initial turn-in the rear now then rotates better from the pendulum ping of the extra weight and the car turns more just before mid corner to aid getting round. Car rotation balance is slight more to rear and feels and is far better.
Presume that the tyre on the spare is not markedly different from the set you are running?
@Cambman Tyre is Same tyre brand, size and model as are on the car. Though, just right same size would be fine and acceptable. Still love how the handling feels much nicer.
