Well we have some visitors at home and the 8 and 6 year old lads are car nuts. Time for a boys run and a men only zone and no feedback allowed apart from smiles to the mums at home. After about an hour on country roads I know well, seat swapping to get the good views, I had to head home as I was shattered. I could not give that car any more beans if I tried. It is something else, now with 3600 miles on the clock, the K&N filter, upgraded oil and gearbox oil and heavier gearknob bedded in and along with the CC2s, it's officially the best handling car I have owned since my 86 911 Supersport (pic below for fun). I have found a local Motorsport garage that are going to do the geometry on the car when I put the PS4s back on in the spring. Then it will be 💯 for the summer of road holidays and euro hoons. This one is a keeper for sure.

Just fitted my Mods Society wing mirror interface.
Quite easy but I wanted to route the wires behind the plastic and secure to the original loom.
Pulling back the plastic was a bit tricky as not to rip the plastic as the sticky sealant does grip well.

Pre fitment of loom to test before finally installing permanently.

Final fitted position under the plastic and module secured to the door structure. Thought it was a good idea to wrap the MS loom with some bubble wrap to stop any rattling.

Mmm... my quote for front bumper area was £270+VAT, same as for bonnet. I've ordered the headlight kit from eBay anyway and will give it a go when conditions are OK (have to do it outside). As well as the obvious no wind or rain, does anyone know if there's a minimum temperature below which it would be unwise to fit? I suppose it would be a good idea to avoid full sun too, but that shouldn't be a problem for a while!
Fitted the headlight film from eBay today... My tip would be don't overwork the film... I have a couple of marks on mine where I was a little heavy handed but It's peace of mind as I had a stone mark on both headlights  so the film was essential

H&R lowering springs and Powerflex camber bolts installed on Thursday.

Haven't had a chance to properly test it yet, but the car looks much better and is still very compliant on most roads.

The front negative camber definitely helps with cornering speed and feel, so I'd recommend the camber bolts with any suspension setup.

Next weekend's task. Thanks for the tip. 😁👍

Chucked some sound deadening mats in the boot, to follow up next weekend with front door and rear arch mats (ran out of sunshine). Took a run out to the nearby garage for their jet wash, saw an amazing assortment of vehicles out today. Ran for a bit next to a lovely MR2 convertible.

That combo of wheel/alloy colour against the blue and lowered is brilliant, lookin very nice indeed!

Do you have a link for the camber bolts and the final readings of your geometry set up, out of interest? Already seen one final set up on here, was looking for a comparator.

Haven't done a full geo yet, that's due in the next few weeks. I'll be aiming for as close to 2 degrees all around as possible.

Currently set to maximum allowed with the front camber bolts, as I'm not doing any heavy driving over the winter, so probably around 2.5 degrees up front, and roughly 1.5 degrees in the rear (from the lowering springs, as no camber adjustment available there).
