GR Yaris ðŸ‘Ž Negatives - what annoys, disappoints, puzzles and generally irks you about the GR Yaris?

The inability to clean the front wheels properly without taking them off due to the size of the brake discs. This is a bit a oxymoron really as I love the size of the front brakes and their stopping power, I just wish I could keep the wheels clean. 1st world problems :ROFLMAO:

Turn the wheels and you can get to the rear part of the wheel from behind. Or just don’t worry about it as you can’t see those bits!

I know, my point being nearly every other manufacturer offers the (cheap) sensors as an entry point and the camera is an addition and upgrade to that.

I am so used to using both i fear a mishap is coming! Suspect I will add my own.

I use these for the front wheels and they work pretty well and fit in between the wheels and the brake discs:

No boot light.
That the cruise slows when approaching a car but doesn't bother when going down a hill.
That the cruise doesn't work the same as either of the three other vehicles in the household with cruise.
That there's no USB power on the phone shelf.
That I can't quite get the seat position right - one position is too upright and the other is too laid back.
That I can't keep my rucksack still in the boot.
That I can't get the mirrors to fold when I lock the car.
That I can't work Carista without the engine running.
That the screen is tilted slightly the wrong way.

Where is this screen from, the phone app or laptop / tablet? I can get speed on my laptop but can't seem to see it in the app on my Android phone 🤔

Driving Analytics on the web page. Also can't see it on the Android app
 
The mirrors will fold if you hit that button/setting on the drivers door mate... :unsure: :)
Also: "That I can't quite get the seat position right - one position is too upright and the other is too laid back." = I too have struggled with the seating position from day 1. I have gone for the laid back position instead of sitting on top of the steering wheel as that's more comfortable and safer for me but I agree it's annoying! (y)

Think it might be a problem with the switch because it doesn't do what it should- popped into Toyota today and they're going to try and sort it when it goes in for service in 1000 miles or so.

Thought I'd got the seat just right yesterday but I discovered that got the seat betwixt the two settings when I hit the loud pedal and it clicked back to the next notch.

If you hold down the cruise control button you'll get a normal cruise and not adaptive rubbish
