I don't think it's the sort of car that will wow you on a test drive. The cold throttle issue and the clutch weight are going to be big issues for many. Also the cabin isn't the best quality, so it might not feel as 'special' as a BMW or something similar.Lots seem to cancel after test driving - why?
No suit hooks, obvs.Lots seem to cancel after test driving - why?

Lots would probably never have ordered in the first place if they were allowed to test drive beforehand.
I'm not sure flipping is worth the risk right now. Prices seem to have settled a bit.Props to you both for cancelling rather than flipping for profit.
Does anyone know how late an order can be cancelled? I have a black manual ordered which apparently is in Portbury but I'm having second thoughts now.
You’d surely sell it for what you paid.. Where in the country is it getting delivered?Does anyone know how late an order can be cancelled? I have a black manual ordered which apparently is in Portbury but I'm having second thoughts now.

True but it may do somebody a favourWhy bother with the hassle? Either buy it and keep it, or cancel for no effort. Buying to then have to sell to break even would be a pain.
It's coming to London. If you were a redmanc i'd wager you don't live far away but as a bluemanc I'm guessing you're Manchester :-DYou’d surely sell it for what you paid.. Where in the country is it getting delivered?
Distance selling rules state you can take delivery and still cancel, within certain rules. So certainly now. What is putting you off?
I wouldn’t hold high hopes of any sort of profit right now, so if you don’t want it or it’s a bad time, probably best to let it go.It's coming to London. If you were a redmanc i'd wager you don't live far away but as a bluemanc I'm guessing you're Manchester :-D
Bit of an impulse purchase and now would rather have the funds to put towards a house purchase

Ah, are you after a black one?True but it may do somebody a favour
Agreed, cancelling the order means that the next person on Toyota's waiting list will get bumped forward and be a happy bunny! Buying to sell also has its inherant risks, not to mention that the car would be +1 on its previous owners.Cancelling it would also do someone a favour, as someone else on the list would get the option.
I hadn't thought of that... You're rightAh, are you after a black one?

Yeah. Interesting to see how many are on there in 1 year’s time.Quite a few GR on autotrader at the moment so may take a little while to sell and tie your capital in, but okay if no rush to sell.
