GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Came back from a busy day at Circuit de la Sarthe to see a GT86 parked opposite at our rented house. What are the chances?

Rotated the wheels. Fronts were 6.5-7mm, rears 4.5-5mm after 6200 miles or so. Reset pressures to 2.4 to reset tpms, then after a spin and they'd cooled at bit, set them to 2.3 as I suspect once temps properly drop that should be 2.2 but I'll double check tomorrow.

Looks a great place to visit. Are the cars in the showroom actually for sale?
Love the White Griff TVR with the Wolfrace wheels, looks immaculate.

Yeah everything inside is for sale. They definitely work with Redline Specialist Cars, not sure if that's exclusively. I think the TVR was an M series, fully restored, over 400 bhp. Looked very cool.

Nearly shat myself as I saw a trail of something leaking as I parked up.

Granted, I had the Air Con on max and coldest settings, but that was a surprising amount of water, it was an actual trail rather than odd drop here and there.

Anyone else noticed that before? Or should I get it checked out?

That's normal in warm humid weather.

Bought one of those snow foam things to give the old girl a decent clean

Gave the wheels a decent jetwash a few weeks ago and left dirty brake dust marks on the latex drive. Foam seems to have cleared them so got the missus off my case as well.

Have you tried Toyota for a new screen?
My insurance said it has to go through Autoglass, unfortunately. Otherwise they only contribute a small amount.

Don’t hold much hope as I’m pretty sure there was someone on here who had a chip on handover and Toyota GB gave him a new car instead as they couldn’t source a replacement.

Unfortunately, the reality is that with such rare cars we may have to get used to delays in parts.
