GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

10 months into ownership , I never get bored of looking at it and then going for a drive , just for the hell of it. I feel fortunate , and I’m assuming you all do , that I have the financial resource to own one , run one and thanks to Toyota for making it.Been on some great trips with the wife … creating good memories 👍
Wait you married the Yaris?!?

WTF is a drive? Kerbside for me!
Fixed spot or have to fight for one closer then a mile to your home?
We are so spoiled here... I recall when the wife's parents had a flat in London, the car could be anywhere. A mate living not far from them once found the only park a tube station away. He had a notice board and wrote down where the car was each day. We get nasty hail here which would make very short work of the GRY roof. I watched a glass roofed Tiburon destroyed in Brisbane city during a storm. Was very scary. Hail smashed all the glass and the body work resembled a golf ball that had a bad encounter with the lawn mower. Lady owner was devastated but at least she got out in time and was safe. We have under cover accommodation for for 5 cars unless I use the verandah and gazebo, then I can fit another 5. Different world

I let the thunderstorm rinse the dust off as I went on holiday for 10 days and came back to it looking filthy lol! :ROFLMAO:
I drove it to work though and Toyota have been trying to reach me about replacing the dodgy Torque Mount Bushing! 😁

Got contacted by certain carbon parts manufacturer, if I wanted their carbon aero kit for free. Only need to make photos and video of the car with parts installed and share them... o_O
After some investigation, all seems legit, we'll see... I hope for the best!

Also, finally managed to get a service appointment for Saturday with my mechanic, things to be fitted:
- Hardrace Shifter Mounting Bushing
- Hardrace Shifter Cable Bushing
- Airtec catch can
- PIAA Sports Horn
- Plexiclick (thanks for tip @P@shencia)
- put in DTUK again

Didn't know about PlexiClick! That's pretty smart!

I ended up going in the other direction...

Not strictly today, but Thursday to Sunday I dragged it to Le Mans and back; two up, back seats down, fully laden, cruising at...<ahem> appropriate speeds on 1,200 km of (mostly) empty autoroutes.

Parked up in the campsite it got a lot of attention. Like, seriously. Folk love this car! So many people wandered over to have a chat about it.

There was a yellow Gallardo next to us and the Yaris got as many folk stopping to take photos, and more than one person was heard to say they'd rather have the GR 😂

Oh, and Ithink I saw @FaithlessEmo's car parked up too :D

Collected mine from Tom at All That Gleams at 8am this morning after full ceramics, wheel protection and a PPF strip on the boot entry to protect against dog paws when our Lab jumps in the back. Looks fabulous.

Hi @NickS I have just filled in an enquiry form for All That Gleams. Now that some time has passed, would you still recommend them? Thanks
