GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Doubt it.

I think there's a strong "smell" of a one-size-fits-all approach, where they use a standard pressure setting for all tyres, just to ensure they're not under-inflated.

This would be in line with the one-size-fits-all approach that the majority of dealerships in our area have demonstrated towards this car, treating it like any other car in the a Toyota range. Eg, most dealer's helplines in our area advised me of service needed every 10k miles / 1 year.

nothing much but group of Police tried to catch me off guard on Sunday when we were on our way to the track.
I knew that there might be something to be expected on the way and drove reasonable speeds, mostly using the adaptive cruise doing 69km/h (Kalle speed).
There was a police man waiting behind a crest with old school radar system. I thought he wants to stop me but he was just measuring the speed, so we just waved hello and upped the spool.

Nowadays its quite seldom to see these fellows on smaller roads but occasionally it seems to happen still.

oh I did top up tire pressures to 2.5bar with PS4S to maybe get through the summer on those tires still.
Nagged to Michelin of uneven tire wear still, haven't gotten any response from them.. Micheling service rep said PS4S is 20% track use so that should fall into my use case but not expecting very much..
 
Fitted some pointless carbon to the engine bay, to match the intake:

Today I fitted the Tegiwa mirror riser so I can see the birds and the sun and the pedestrians as I barrell down the road.

Lovely job and it's about as high as it can go.

On my bike I have my bell for polite usage, and then also the hornet, which is like a 110db horn for road use.

I don't use my car horn much but sometimes someone needs polite peep

Yesterday I took the car into the Yorkshire dales. Started at Settle - up to Hawes, over Buttertubs pass down into Thwaite then onto Kilnsey and back home. 150 glorious miles mostly B very empty roads in the dales. Problem is that there were long stretches especially around Thwaite region where there was lost signal and I had to go into a tea room to connect to their wi-fi to make a call. I thought at the time I am glad I have the full size spare in the back.
Took a picture in front of the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. Shame there wasn't a steam train going over it.

Buttertubs pass is superb. Love Hawes too (although it will be renamed 'Sex Worker' soon enough no doubt).

Easy to forget how many great driving roads are within England let alone UK. We are truly blessed.
