Anyone can chime in if their Waze UI is the same side as my LHD unit?

I’ve got left in the car and left in the manual, anyone with right checked their manual?

I’m also a member of the volume knob on the left club. I’d not even thought about it being on the other side for rhd, as that’s where it’s been on my last car, and I tend to use the steering wheel buttons for volume anyway.

Mines on the right. But I keep turning the left as that’s what I’ve been use to with German cars.

So now that we're getting more collections, do we have an idea as to the 'knob distribution', and whether there is any rhyme or reason in the left v. right set ups?

I'll be able to contribute to this study when I collect my car on Friday.

I think I already know which side mine will be, cos when I was on the phone with the dealer the other day I'm sure I heard someone in the background saying "that Silver Fox is a right knob".

I was wondering if its a model year thing, my vin says my car is a 23, the stereo is on the left as it is in the manual, wondering if the right stereos are on the right in their manuals?

My car has the volume on the right, my manual shows it on the left.
My manual (as all others I expect) also shows the steering wheel on the left on occasion so I'd imagine it's not to be taken literally at times.

The manual for the GRY is the "European" manual, so shows all sorts of things on the opposite side to UK-spec cars. Sounds like the GR86 manual might be the same?

On the same theme, anyone else find it weird the right hand controls on the steering wheel do the left hand screen? Or is it just me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Picked mine up as it's a right knobber.
I'm glad it was otherwise I would have been on this forum to see if anyone wanted to trade their right knob for a left one:ROFLMAO:
Prefer it to the JDM spec.

Left knobber here. Much prefer it as I tinker with the EQ settings a lot by holding down the right knob (not as far to reach).

I always use the steering wheel for adjusting volume anyway!

Mine is on the right too on my early bird manual; I wish it was on the left like every other car I have had.

I am sure I will get used to it though, just like the indicators, and stop detuning it all the time!
