Payment request received, after seeing the horror stories on here I’m going to hold off until the first working day back after Christmas. Can’t really sell my current car until then anyway!

That MK4Hi, after using the forum for a wealth of knowledge as well as sharing the pain of delivery delays, I thought I would say hi as the soon to be new owner of a white manual.
The car arrived (frozen) yesterday so it was an emotional first meeting given she has been tracked for most of this year. I am really glad I went for white too. The dealer has been great, even fitting the ducktail and aero cover today as well as getting the PDI done. Rear sensors to be fitted next week and then kept away from the worst Winter weather until a full paint correction and PPF in Jan. I was surprised how clean it seemed given the Derby holiday.
She will be joining an eclectic mix and the S2000 will be going. It's my first new Toyota having had mk4 UK Supras auto and manual as well as old BMWs. I've followed the GR86's birth over the last 2 years and loved the test drive so looking forward to enjoying her in the better weather.
We all know what a GR86 looks like by now but no harm in a few more self indulgent pics especially as I have been amusing myself with photo editing apps to picture her in the garage. Not many more mods planned, I've for the auto dimming rear view mirror to fit and the GR shift knob although the monoblock brakes and TRD 19" wheels are tempting but I keep repeating "no" every 30 mins to prevent such thoughts getting traction

Joined the collected list yesterday, enjoyed cleaning her for the first time today including a clay bar and machine polish, love the white pearlescent paint in the sun. I wasn't too sure the aero stabiliser was worth the money but it definitely finishes the rear nicely especially with the spoiler.
A few minor mods done including LED interior bulbs, that make a big difference especially in the boot and door lights, GR gear knob and even GR tyre pressure valve caps, you can never have too much branding. Also glad the wireless car play dongle integrated seamlessly.
Had a brief drive today and I think all the superlatives have already been said. Next on the list a professional paint correction and PPF.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their cars in the nice weather.

So went for second test drive this morning , in the meantime the Toyota app now shows that the car is at the dealer but not heard anything. Does it mean it’s on its way or for others who already had theirs delivered , did this mean it was correct and had arrived? Nothing from Preston dealer atm.

In my case it meant it had arrived, but the dealer didn't get in touch until TOL had called me to let me know.

Where did you get the boot liner from please? I asked dealer today and said he couldn’t find anything on his system.
ebay sell them, it's a USDM product. Mine should arrive soon.

Just collected this afternoon. Had a slight nightmare with Toyota today (I’ll spare everyone the details) but let’s just say I was collecting, then I wasn’t, then I was, then I wasn’t, then it was ready to go! Picked it up, drove home and then been on teams calls since so not properly taken it all in. I live down some very muddy country lanes so this is the cleanest the car will ever be! Dealer handover was good and the car looks fantastic- so very pleased and now need an excuse to take it out tonight!

I know what you went through - I had the same experience myself at 11:15 this morning - Yes, then definitely NO unless we can sort the issue out, then Yes - issue sorted. Local dealer has been excellent throughout . . . it's just a shame that other parts of the order/supply process have performed somewhat below expectation. No freebies, but the dealer did manage to supply and fit some mudflaps.
From what I can gather - the issue related to the car's Emergency Assistance SOS system (pg 34 of the owner's user guide) - apparently some uncertainty from Toyota UK as to whether this was enabled or not .

Mines just arrived.. spoiler was to be fitted on the 3rd / 4th and then collected after this date. I’ve now asked if i can collect on Friday as I’m washing it and putting plates so hopefully they should be able to sort the other stuff out their end relatively quickly . So I know a long way to go but timing wise this could be perfect.
Which dongle did you get ? I'm looking to get one of these to avoid the faff of wires
