Due to pick up my car tomorrow after rear spoiler install, ceramic coating and wheel swap. Don’t think I’ll see it this clean ever again!

Hi Wrobz

I have gone with the Red ad ducktail also. Considering either wheel repaint in Bronze or some OZ rims. What have you gone with ?.
Any chance you can load a picture of the side view when your all done.
My car arrived today at the dealers and I am collecting in the new year. Getting a pro ceramic coating and will probably leave the wheels until the spring. Your car is looking amazing you will be scared to get it dirty LOL

Will post some shots from better angles when I’ve got the car picked up. The wheels were an eBay bargain and I had them re-finished in bronze locally.

In retrospect I’d probably just have the OEM wheels turned bronze as they can always be redone black to sell in “original” form if required. However these (unknown brand rims) were only £450 with a full set of Pilot Sport 4 tyres so was a bit of a no brainer. Just need to check tomorrow if spacers are needed.

Collecting mine on Wed 21st. Have been to see it’s physically there, so short of administrative bungles it should be sorted. Have asked for all-season tyres, mudguards and oblong rear numberplate to cover the holes, so potentially scope for delays, but will hopefully all be OK by then…

Looks absolutely stunning - congrats!

Well, that is odd... the GR Yaris (that I didn't order) has arrived at Jemca!

Meanwhile the actual GR86 I did order is nowhere to be found 🤨

Hi Wrobz
I am looking at the OZ Ultraleggra bronze want to keep the std sizes. Though may be then get some all seasons on the stock wheels for winter as its my daily. painting a lot cheaper and I could swap tyres in winter I guess. Can see why you went for them at that price. I look forward to seeing the pics when you get it back. Thanks for the response

I picked up mine from Carlisle yesterday lunchtime. I thought they had done a very good job of cleaning (and polishing) after the extended stay in Derby, and had also deactivated the enhanced engine noise as requested. Photo taken at pickup.

This morning we went for the first of many trips into the Lake District and for the first time in my life I saw someone walking past and having a really good look at the car I was driving.

Very nice! I'll be driving past that layby in my GR86 on Saturday if all goes to plan!
