Each to their own on that. As a 2nd owner on a Yaris that only does about 5k miles a year I was VERY happy to be able to use it properly from day 1 as it was already run inPersonally as a potential buyer I’d prefer to do the running in myself

Yeah fair enough. The risk is you don’t know if it was treated sympathetically during break in, or properly warmed up before driving it harder etc. Same risk with ex-demo.Each to their own on that. Or any used car. Tbf, this is my first ever new car in over 20 years of driving so maybe I just worry less about all that as it's always a bit unknownYeah fair enough. Yeah, I bought my GT86 ex demo at 7mths old, so I have taken the risk before. With a 10yr warranty there’s not much to worry about.Or any used car. Tbf, this is my first ever new car in over 20 years of driving so maybe I just worry less about all that as it's always a bit unknown![]()
I shall cherish it sir!I think I'm right in saying this @LU71KEE , I have just given my first ever "love" responses to a post on this forum ever.

Please enjoy it, and handle it carefully.
Does the 86 ecu keep logs that can be read by a dealer? I bought a Lotus Elise a few years ago and the instruction was keep it below 4000 for 800 miles or something. Apparently the ecu logged time at particular revs and the dealer said Lotus would not honour the warranty if it had not been properly run in.Yeah fair enough. If you are buying used, I wonder if you can get a report from the ecu as to how the car was driven?
The Porsche bore scoring issue isn’t related to over revving, it’s to do with the design of the sixth cylinder in the engine and a tendency yo overheat due to cooling and lubrication issues.I know the technology is available for Porsche, the ECU logging incidences of over revving which can cause bore scoring issues. This information is available on request.
I don't believe Toyota offer this service.
Happy to be proven wrong.
I’m not a golfer but with the seats down I’m pretty sure you’d fit in a set of golf clubs. Another flipper? Not an official listing as such but still for sale… View attachment 11625
Hasn't even bothered to come up with a good lieI’m not a golfer but with the seats down I’m pretty sure you’d fit in a set of golf clubs. Another flipper?
What an idiotHasn't even bothered to come up with a good lie
There is no designated Haribo pocket so I'm out lads, just to help you out I'll take £50k because it's XmasThese coming up with these crap excuses to sell have no interest in cars. It fit's 4x 18" wheels and tyres with the seats down FFS.. Of course it's fine for some golf bats!
I see on the PH threads people nit-picking over minutiae. Debating X over Y. These cars will be gone before we know it. I still haven't got over the mental-ness of the last week after such a long time to get to this point. First new car I've had in over 7yrs, there's been some adjustment. It's got a crazy amount of attention on social media. Everyone in the office likes it. Expecting the wave of jealousy from other depts once they get back after Christmas but feck them. Sacrificed too much to get to this point and it's a relief that it's been worth it.
