GR Yaris Rötheli Racing GR Yaris

Ha just been watching your heigo video again.
Thinking that or JP cages but not sure on there mounting yet and can’t find a heigo uk dealer.

My Lithiumax restart 7 is 48ah. Does struggle a little after sitting for a week, but haven't seen it drop past 12.5V

These Ah's between various battery types surely is confusing! At their site Lithiumax is stated 18Ah?
'Market leading 48Ah PbEq lead-acid/AGM/Gel equivalent capacity (18Ah Lithium Nominal)'.
That's the thing, the capacity is made equivalent regarding starting capacity, but the energy storage capacity is decidedly lower, as in, for the same resting/stand-by current, it will empty a lot sooner.

one thing to note by fitting kill switch is might invalidate your insurance as alarm won't be in place if vehicle disappears

Good luck stealing my car, out of my closed and secured workshop, when you can‘t even start it. And i‘m not so sure, why that could invalidate my insurance.
It‘s in a closed garage, so you have to break in, to get access to the car and there‘s no keys around. 🤷🏻‍♂️

How does kill switch work with remote locking or only to be used in garage?
A kill switch, kills ALL electricity in the car. So also no remote locking.
So, if you park your car on the street, that might not be the best option for you.

Yes that was my thinking - not stealing your vehicles, but use case where car is left standing still outside home. Few batteries have remote killswitch integrated that would do the trick. Would prefer using the old fashioned key for opening the car though..

They would never know it was fitted tho if it disappears?
if insurance pays out for stolen car then later recovered it becomes property of ins company and may well discover the switch

good luck making claim when assessor askes was vehicle locked, alarmed and immobilised and you say NO

I myself have a battery isolator switch which of course cripples the alarm and immobiliser and am happy to take the risk. While it's at home in locked garage in locked compound is one thing but would i activate it in a hotel car park in say downtown Madrid is another question
