I had an update from dealer. Car supposed to be in build since 4th May , and due with them 27th July. Now apparently it is due 1st September! delays due to plant closure , chip shortage etc. , I’m still relaxed about it all . nothing I can do but keep waiting

@Fizzio I do wonder if they told you in error, yours and mine were ordered within about a week of each other and mine was a mid september. I expect it's probably an early september now. I still half expect it'll beat the september date, and it's mid june... show up maybe mid august wouldn't be too bad.
This is kinda why I think it has to be building soon.

I was kind of wondering the same . I have a feeling it’ll arrive in August. As long as it here by early September at the latest , I’ll be ok , but if it later than that , then even my laid back patient nature may start to get pissed off !

Don't fret. Mine showed nothing until 2 weeks before it arrived at the dealers.

I’m not sure you can rely on those dates - that’s basically when someone bothered to update the app! It doesn’t take a month to build.
Thought possibly delays with factory closures etc. Estimated delivery in chrome developer tools has been jumping around all over the place too. Was 22nd July when first went into build. Then changed to September and has been creeping it's way back down each week and now saying 8th August. Not to far away now.

Well I collected mine today (plain white so no need for a new post). I wish you could bottle feelings up, just seeing it waiting in the handover room with the lights dimmed was unreal. And after a 14 month wait with several delays it was borderline emotional! I’ve driven it for 60 miles so far and it’s just perfect, I feel so lucky.
