Well I collected mine today (plain white so no need for a new post). I wish you could bottle feelings up, just seeing it waiting in the handover room with the lights dimmed was unreal. And after a 14 month wait with several delays it was borderline emotional! I’ve driven it for 60 miles so far and it’s just perfect, I feel so lucky.

Classic response from the other half, 🤣 'NOOOOO don't take a photo of me!'

Looks like your original estimate on the app of the 22nd of June was near enough bang on then! Can you remember how long it was in Portbury before going to Derbyshire? Mine arrived at Bristol this time last week and I've been refreshing ever since...

Mine arrived into dock on the 27th of May, arrived at the dealers on the 17th of June. Hope that helps!

Haha yes. When she saw the photo she was more worried people would think she was picking her nose!

Car left the factory . using chrome developer tools trick , now have a VIN . ETA to dealer is saying 10th August. Think I’ll wait to 1st September for a 72 plate , but will put my private plate on it anyway.

Had a update from dealer today ,mine should be with them next week fingers crossed ,very excited now hopefully everyone else will start to get updates soon

Let's keep our fingers crossed.
The excitement just ramped up a notch. My JW18** order is now apparently being built. I thought that production had been halted for another 2 weeks, but l'm not complaining. Now to play with the Developer Tools thingy and start developing an unhealthy interest in the logistics and movements of bulk car carriers!!

Got notification on Friday 24th June that mine has left the factory and ETA to dealer is 10th August. Trying to figure out which ship it maybe on . Any ideas anyone ? Looking at Brasso’s helpful guide , the boat usually leaves 24-48 hours before you get the “ left the factory “ notification . Cheers

Not long to go for me, but my employer hasn't authorised my leave for Thursday and Friday. I put my request in on Sunday. Any employment lawyers out there, as I will be taking Thursday and Friday off even if my leave isn't authorised. That could mean instant dismissal . Let's hope the car is worth it

I’m sure it will be ! I have booked time off already for when mine arrives . I have to give 6 weeks notice minimum to get a day off .. that’s the NHS for you .

Two days off sick you can probably self certify.... especially in these COVID times....

How did you know 6 weeks in advance your car will be turning up. I only got the nod from my dealership on Friday.

I've already spoken to HR regarding the non response from my manager and senior manager, so it's not an option or an option I would ever take "The boy that cried wolf". It will come back and bite you.

its due at the dealer on 10th August, on the boat now. Going to leave it till 1st September to collect , so booked leave then , hoping it’ll arrive roughly on time , so gave myself a few weeks leeway .

They should probably answer their holiday requests then!

These days I just tell my bosses I'm going on holiday, when I put it in, I tell them immediately and expect a response within the day from the manager.
