Morning all, thought I'd finally make an account after lurking this thread since page 2!
First, this has been a huge help and an invaluable source of information when ordering so thank you all who have contributed insights/tips so far, and to AndyRC for keeping the list going!
I ordered a White 6MT on the 20th, confirmation email at 10.07. Car has appeared on MYT, still build in process, estimated delivery 18th July. Got my call on 3rd May, Toyota staff couldn't have been nicer.
Hope everyone here gets good news soon!

How reliable do we think the estimates that were given verbally are then?
I orded at 10.04. I was told "late August/September" when I had my phone call. Which is fine. But the car is still just "Purchased" on the website, and hasn't appeared in MyT yet.
I'm not really worried about not getting my car, but I would like to have at least a rough date I can rely on. I need to sell my current car, and have no real need for it, so I don't mind putting it up a little early and going without for a few months. Which I will do if August is still an achievable date. But if I'm going to have to wait into 2023, then I obviously wont be shifting it on just yet.

Have you tried the hidden Toyota Production system information embedded into the Toyota website as described in page 1 of the below tracking thread. As a Toyota customer I would say that hidden information is spot on my previous Toyota orders way accurate than BMW, Audi or any other OEM and that is what dealer or Toyota GB or Toyota Japan see on there internal systems. The information is updated live each time the vehicle passes a bar code scanner at plant, port, ship or dealer compound.

I hadn't - I thought that info was only accessible or useful once the order was processing, not just purchased. Might see if I can uncover anything though.

It’s also worth checking whether the email and mobile number you ordered the GR86 is same as the Toyota online account. In my case for GR86, Toyota had to create another order on the website to appear on the My-T app. So on website one order with dealer delivery says purchased, but no tracking info, but then another order with Toyota online as delivery has all the tracking info showing status as “Processing”.

I wonder if the dates are accurate, considering that the GR86 is built at Subaru and not Toyota?

I think that definitely adds a layer of uncertainty till the vehicle is actually on build line in Subaru plant which is not in control of Toyota and end of line handed over to Toyota Japan.
Welcome, I was confirmed @10.28 as well & in the same position on myT but still waiting for the call.
Unfortunately not feeling as optimistic as you not convinced I will see the car this year, for me if it's not going to arrive before winter would sooner it was next spring

So glad I stumbled across this forum. I have been waiting and holding off buying any other car for the last 2.5 years. Had to sell me beloved 2012 GT86 back in 2015 when moved from Manchester to London but have been back in the North West and can NOT wait.
Ordered MT in Pearl white on the 20th.
Received order confirmation at 10:14
Confirmed again by an email from both Toyota Buy Online and the dealers (I guess this was instead of the phone call) on the 26/4.
MyToyota status - processing.

We are not far off
Thanks to the new members who continue to join the forum. If anyone has not added a general location to their signature if you could it will help to see where all the GR86 are, so far I think we may have 3 within a 5 mile radius in East Yorkshire (subject to everyone getting a phone call)
