But if this work is to be done properly, you ll have to remove covers - because this is were rust could start and progress without noticing...

(anyone heard of this brand?)
However this is water-based. I m taking a guess for environmental reasons (no other country in EU cares more about the env than Germany)
Being a water-based solution, I m not sure how effective that is compared to the more tested (wax based) Dynax/Dinitrol products
Here's the translation from the description:
"Water-based underbody protection
Environmentally friendly water-based underbody protection with good corrosion protection properties and high stone chip resistance. Climate-optimized thanks to its special formula and can be used without any problems down to -10 °C. Very low VOC content.
Recoatability: With water-based paints after brief drying. Can be painted over with solvent-based paint systems after thorough drying. Due to the wide variety of paint systems available, we consider preliminary tests to be necessary"
"Shake the can thoroughly before use. UBS AQUA PLUS is applied using the BODY-GUN III spray gun. The optimum
spray distance is approx. 20-30 cm at an air pressure of 2-4 bar (depending on the structure). Depending on the application, the product
can also be diluted with water. Clean contaminated surfaces and dirty equipment immediately with water. The product can be applied without misting
and does not drip. Contaminated surfaces and equipment can be cleaned with water while still “fresh.”
Opened (not empty) cans should be closed immediately after applying the product.
COMPATIBILITY:
For thicker layers, we recommend a drying time of at least 16 hours (overnight) at room temperature.
Recommended application temperature between 15°C and 25°C"

Sounds fine to me, there is not that much to remove, i did it myself for my Yaris, and i do it for our clients. The price and material seems fine reading the description, wax based ofc would maybe be better, but anything is better than nothing. As far as i know there should not be salted roads in Germany, right ?
Anyway here are some pics from a Yaris Cross i did last weekend, under is very similar to a GR Yaris. There are like 3 bigger pans, 4 arch liners, and some other small bits, all fairly easy to remove.

Unfortunately not a handyman (that would have made things whole lot easier)
And you're right, I didn't know it was German
As with Dynax, there's an overwhelming number of products (so you can't really tell which is the 'best'): https://www.dinitrol.com/en/products/corrosion-protection/

But I m not confident with doing such job on my own (and also lack the equipment)
Best chance is to make a good price negotiation with my local garage, so that they do this job for me
As I think it ll also be very unlikely to convince the Toyota dealer to use Dinitrol instead
Just for comparison, the same work would probably be a lot more simpler on the A110:
The GRY has a completely naked underbody
But again for the Alpine, it looks as if there are some really hard to reach areas (particularly around the suspension)
Unfortunately not a handyman (that would have made things whole lot easier)
