GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Still haven't been there. It's pretty much at the end of one of my favourite roads, but as I usually drive it at half 6 on a Sunday morning, I'm far too early to pop in for breakfast :D

There's a GR Yaris just around the corner from my house and I've seen pictures of it on their Instagram too.
It's definitely worth a visit, there isn't really anything else like it near us. I'll drop you a message next time I go. (y)

Gave the daily a well-earned rest and switched to analogue for a few days sunshine. I can see her sulking in the garage...

Was victim of what must be a very ill seagull this afternoon. Ten minutes with a hose and hard graft to get it off as it was absolutely caked on! Thankfully she's due to be washed fully this weekend. Debating on what to invest in next - ceramic coating or a boot deployed anti-air defence system? 🐦

You need some bird lime and bug spray if you haven’t already, makes light work of removing shats and dead bugs plus your paintwork will be better for it.

I've got some bird poop wipes but probably would have needed 50 of them to work through it all 😂

Wet toilet paper to soften the shit helps. Afterwards it should be washable. Im living at the baltic sea so a repetitive routine here unfortunately :D

If you put a dead seagull's head on a pike next to your car it will deter them.

Some mouth breather in a 20-ton aggregate lorry hadn't secured his load cover properly on the A2 the morning. Didn't even get that close, and took several hits from rocks that were big enough to see coming, and even hit me two lanes away. Sounded like the end of the world when they hit me. Checked for damage when I got to work and only found a mercifully small chip on the front wing, but I am certain there will be more on the roof and probably bonnet with a closer inspection. Also found a hairline crack in the front bumper (although to be fair, that could be the encounter I had with a muntjac in Suffolk a few weeks back, as there was no chip in the paint).

Looks like I'll be breaking out the Chipex kit later. Really hate having to commute in this car, especially as it's made of tissue paper. I know it's nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it gets me down watching scrapes and scratches appear.

Every time I drive it or even touch it, it picks up new marks. It is depressing. At some point I'll say f it and treat it like a normal daily.
This, I fully sympathise.

Idiot drivers, soft paint, stone chips. It is depressing. My OCD genuinely ruins my enjoyment of the thing.

Still driving it more now as its sunny, Hilux MOT Expired, and I CBA to get the Westfield out!

Fitted the Ottocast Mini. Wireless android auto thats slightly less clutter than the pre dongle versions.

It seems to do the job! I could acutally use the cup holders for drinks now... if drinks weren't banned!
Oooo. I've already got the Carsifi dongle in my car, but I've been looking for one that supports Android Auto AND Apple Carplay for the missus's car.
