GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

Unlikely it's a customer car, to the best of my knowledge all cars in the UK are press and dealer demos and they can't be sold until they are 18 months old.

Gen2 clickbait and highly unlikely you can buy it.

Think it’s a bit longer than 18 months. The doc I’ve seen which I think was posted on here with the presales info said dealers had to keep until end of 2026.

I believe 18 mths is the norm @Ecsrobin , also possible demos are replaced if they continue selling them.

I just noticed on those ebay ad pictures that it has a GR embroidered logo on the boot mat! Is this included in the price?!

No seriously, this is the first thing, other than the power hike, I want from the Mk 2.

All the demonstrators have arrived with it and customer cars in Europe have (Mentioned last week on here).

I agree with both of you.
The issue with the mk1 is that they tried to make it more modern or sporty with the small screen, but that is just not enough. It could be much better if they had spent more money/time in it. If it was just a little bigger and adjustable it would be the best of both worlds.

The infotainment/radio is just horrible, there is just nothing good about it 🤣
⬆️⬆️⬆️ absolutely!
Considering that's a bespoke GRY cluster Toyota missed a golden opportunity to make WAY better!
Personally, I love a analogue dials for the info you need to "glimpse at" for a split second (e.g rpm, boost) - nothing yet beats that - I admit, true LEDs are also good.
Giving an example of cluster I love.. is the one from my own bike. I would never trade it for the new/flat panel model
- Just compare it with the navigation screen above and take your own conclusions!

Ofcourse that's why they have that "roof" above the cluster.
I've been driving with digital dashboards for a couple of years now, and this really isn't an issue.
The only time there was a problem, was in a BMW Z4 with roof down and sun in the rear.

my point was not (only) about glare/reflection...
it's evident (to me at least) that a single screen mainly aims for cost reduction.

The value is also pretty limited outside Japan.
The adjustable shift indicator is a nice gimmick, but Will hardly ever be used...

An integrated laptimer would have been Nice though.
I can adjust yellow tach area on my mk2 auto
