GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Had a busy weekend with two days of car cleaning and collecting some parts for the GR.
Both cars cleaned, BRZ wheels swapped, calipers cleaned and sealed, wheel arches cleaned and engine bay cleaned.
All in prep for a trackday at Bedford Autodrome tomorrow, can't wait. 😁 Although I could now use a lie in. 😴

The sun was out on the East coast today, so trip to Whitby for fish and chips. Then spent the afternoon on the North Yorks Moors.
Blakey Ridge was very quiet and had a great run in both directions, flying solo without the passenger seat speed limiter. :)

Magnificent. Our car is absolutely made for this sort of thing.

PS username checks out, and I hope you had some mushy peas with them fish & chips... :)

Got the dealer to turn off the fake engine noise this morning. Only a 4 mile journey back but I much prefer it .
I had mine done recently and totally agree. Shame there isn't a switch for people just to try it off without the dealer visit. I know you can unplug it easily enough but I know I would have done something to mess it up.

This is a great little camera. I have one for the rear. Just keep an eye on the lights on the unit to make sure they remain lit. Occasionally mine went out meaning there was no power operating the camera. Even switching the engine off and on or resetting the button on the unit failed. Garmin was really good and replaced the camera twice as it still happened with the replacement ones. They then sent me a new cable and power socket package. I changed the power socket first, but still the same problem. Then I changed the cable. This seemed to have been the issue as I have had trouble for the last month. I'm still keeping an eye on it as it was always an intermittent fault.

Thinking of getting the dealer to switch mine off when its in for its first service, do they charge for turning it off?

I had mirror caps changed at the same time but think they didn't charge to switch it off. Well worth a few pounds anyway.
