And if you expand the photo, you can see that the car by the bridge has umm.. had a moment. No idea how it happened, but it is very steep and suddenly gets narrow.

Honister Pass is very bumpy and narrow, so not that good for driving.Honister pass a good road to drive? Never found the lakes good for driving.
Hartside pass is awesome (assuming you mean the one in the Pennines?) !
I got it done as part of a 6 month safety check. Cost me £67 as I've got the service plan. The only reason I had this check was to get the fake noise switched off. TBH a bit of a rip off and I certainly won't be having further safety checks but worth it to get it switched off.Thinking of getting the dealer to switch mine off when its in for its first service, do they charge for turning it off?
Eek! I gave up and turned back on the Hardnott Pass in a DC2 IntegraAnd if you expand the photo, you can see that the car by the bridge has umm.. had a moment. No idea how it happened, but it is very steep and suddenly gets narrow.
You wanna avoid sitting on the bonnet for too long there @Shoggy. I'm also wondering how you reach the pedals with such short legsFeeling bluetiful todayView attachment 27598
I live in the lakes and have to deal with these muppets every day. Hope you managed to have a nice drive and avoid the bank-holiday gaggle. And if you expand the photo, you can see that the car by the bridge has umm.. had a moment. Yeah, nice drive thanks. It was Sat morning with a friend who knows the road. It wasn't busy. Did have a few hill starts to deal with when going up. Liberal use of the throttle and a steady foot on the clutch needed. The hill hold certain came in handy.I live in the lakes and have to deal with these muppets every day. This is interesting to hear. I probably would have opted for the resonated. From your and Sonic's comments I'm now more tempted by the non-res.It was your influence + feedback from the member who got a PAX ride in yours that did it. Therefore…when my neighbours complain about the cold start I will direct them to deepest darkest Fife.
First impressions are that it is actually quite a bit quieter than I thought it would be. (Cold start excepted)
Resonated must be very quiet.
That’s said, perhaps I just wasn’t driving it hard enough (old exhaust rattling around in the back)

I have an i30n too, original intention was to sell after getting GR86, but can't bear to let it go. The exhaust note on this makes me want to do something with the GR. Had I sold the i30n, I probably would have gotten used to the exhaust note, but jumping from one to the other makes me think an upgrade is necessary.
Can I ask, did you fit and supply yourself? Or can you recommend a garage? I'm also in central Scotland.
Thanks for the info, great to hear such positive reviews. Got myself some thinking to doHaving driven it for a few more days, I am really convinced I wouldn’t have been happy with anything quieter than this.
I had it fitted by Stainless Creations in Falkirk while I waited, circa 1hr 15mins.
They also supplied it (at discount) so I didn’t have to worry about transporting it to them. I’d have fitted it myself if I had a ramp, though.
