I thought this might help one or two of you out. All information has been gathered from forum user comments and manufacturer web pages.

What should you/I consider when purchasing:

Across the board, from my reading, everyone is happy with the improvement of lowering the seat. Most opt to do both seats or decide to do the passenger seat after doing the driver's side.

Some users reported stock plastic trims either needed modification or removal.

Also, some kits may reduce rear passenger foot space below and between the seat and back.

Prices may change. Check the manufactures website for the latest prices.

I can weigh my DNA kits soon,as they are still in the boxes.

Good shout. I have ordered the SWM I can do the same.

I will weigh the stock parts when I take them off, also.
 
I just finally got around to fitting the SWM fully adjustable driver side.

The hardest thing was getting the old handle out of the rail, it ended up bending part of the catch but I was able to straighten it out again, just the passenger side to do.

It does what it says on the tin, I would recommend removing all of the rear plastic trims so the seat can go all the way down without fouling.
 
Was not aware of the GP-Elite. To my designer eyes it looks like the best construction by far, with the least compromise is strength and especially stiffness as one is offsetting the rails in a less favourable position. The DNA introduces torques on both the chair and chassis mounts that weren't designed for that, the SW is plain flat plate and less stiff.
Only too bad GP-Elite expect the OE handle to be shortened, on the other hand none are a fully reversible mod anyway...

I‘ll have a client with the GP Elite Kit here in a few weeks.
I agree that according to the pictures it looks by far as the best option i‘ve seen…

And the handle costs 27€ which you can buy seperately, so it‘s fully reversible for very little money. 😉
 
I have the fully adjustable SWM kit and very pleased with it, as previous the difficult part was releasing the original seat slider handle.

Very pleased, i thought i would want it lower but am very happy with the 30mm it gives. Amazing the difference, thoroughly recommend it!!
 
what annoys me with all these solutions are the white sliders. Why aren't they black? As long as there is no solution, I'm out.

So it immediately looks like a cheap tinkering

which kit is that, mine are black :(
 
Whiche of these do I have to think about left hand drive? Some of em are only shipped to UK also. On those pages you only choose from drivers side or passengers side. Im assuming a UK drivers side is a Norwegian passenger side?

Yes you are correct! As we would say you guys drive on the wrong side!!

Looking at the SWM kit, the upper mounting plate is different for driver vs passenger side, so I'd guess an RHD passenger side won't fit an LHD drivers side.

Probably only the SWM kit is defalut RHD as made in the UK...
