GR Yaris Wind noise

Here’s what it should look like and what happens to them. It’s 3m tape and some pins it slots in to. Seems they heat up and then unstick.

Keep us posted mate. My local Toyota garage would just blame the wind noise on the TRD wind deflectors (although I installed them as a workaround). Interested in the revised mounting/door seal though.
Update on wind noise , dealer doing it under warranty 👍🚗💨

I think I have the same issue and a couple of others have reported it too…. Dealer taking their time to get Toyota HQ support. Which dealer did you use? I might refer mine to them to hurry it along.

My old hometown. I might do a road trip back next year in my Estonian GR. Might be sooner if Putin kicks off.
Take it to them they will check it and order parts, mine went in today but when they fitted the new rubber it had a tear in it🥵🚗💨

Update on wind noise, it has been done under warranty 👌 all is good now.
So if anyone has a noise, mainly round the wing mirrors, get to your local dealer 🚗💨
Great result @GR.KEV!

Do you have an official Toyota description on any paperwork they gave you? Or is it just the door seal?

It’s just the door seal. It has some pins to slot into and 3m tape. The 3m tape loses grip then it pops out the pins and creates a gap.

They done the door seal and the rubber triangle round the mirror, I mite coat a gel like Vaseline on them keep them supple.
Just go to Toyota they are under warranty!

No paperwork as it was done under warranty at Toyota bromsgrove.

Toyota will soon know about this issue, so the more that go back and get it fixed the better, they may make a modified version, doesn’t help it’s got pillar less door frames.
🚗💨

I have had a door seal replaced part number T62381-52050 but has made no difference to stop the wind noise.
I have attached picture of the seal I’ve had replaced, could you tell me if it’s the correct one?
Many thanks!

Can you take a photo of the seal fitted with door closed near the B pillar

Unfortunately with the MK2 I'm in the same situation... I hear a slight hiss in the mirror area after 70km/h... I tried to fold it and it changes slightly but it's there... but reading here and on the UK group I don't understand the problem, if it's the inclination of the glass or just the seal
