GR86 Why are used cars not selling?

[Steve O]

Looks like they are being advertised at £32,495 now? Also seems to be quite a few more used ones advertised on Toyota’s website now too.

Building on the spirit of iconic Toyota sports cars, the new, more powerful Toyota GR86 combines sophisticated styling and a rewarding driving experience.

Did you see this bit:
"Due to unprecedented demand, the GR86 is currently unavailable to order. Register your interest in GR86 to keep informed of any updates in the future."

No dates or indications when they might be available. 8 for sale on autotrader including one by a Toyota dealer as Demo/Release 2024 @ 48,990.

On the approved used Toyota website they now have a model selection for GR86 and there are 5 for sale at dealers, including the one for nearly £50k. Most seem to be £38-£40k and I assume are ex demo.

£32.5k is surprising. They could have honestly priced the car for £35k in the current market.
