Oh. I’m at 1200 miles. Sorry to hear of your paint chips. Makes me think, if can get a hard to get PPF appointment I should get it.Just scraped past 2500 miles. Not a daily driver, still got stone chips!
I'm not too bothered, bit of touch up and when the time comes, I'll get a proper respray.Oh. I’m at 1200 miles. Sorry to hear of your paint chips. Makes me think, if can get a hard to get PPF appointment I should get it.
Should certainly hope not they are only 2 years oldQuestion for those with lots of miles, have you checked the chassis for any rust issues? My other car is a MK1 mx5 so this is something I'm very keen to avoid
Hi Skaben I have used mine right through the two winters and I clean it off in the autumn and apply some some ACF50 to the suspension parts. I have just cleaned it off for the summer and there is no surface rust apart from a slight bit in the track rod ends. 20k done. Never had any stone chips despite some spirited use until a lorry droped off the edge of the road and showered the cars in gravel new windscreen 4 stone chips and a small dent in the bonnet. PPF so expensive to put on and take off you might as well just save the money for a front end respray. It’s not a Ferrari when all said and done . If you don’t change the PPF every five years or so you run the risk of removal causing seriouse paint damage..I'm not too bothered, bit of touch up and when the time comes, I'll get a proper respray.
